being sick of apple's prices I went back to android after almost 10 years, it was supposed to be an absolute virgin version of android. Turned out to be the worst nightmare. The damn thing didn't even have the appropriate drivers to connect to a freaking PC!! that and the bloatware in a virgin android... I smashed it to a wall and payed apple again for a "just works" experience. I do software troubleshooting for a living, I wasn't going to "you should've installed that... rooted that... linux'ed that" on my free time (I know android fanbois will come at me with those arguments).
Bloatware on iPhone is literally non existent when compared to android and you can already uninstall most of everything non essential aka phone, messages, and AppStore. Even the contacts app can be deleted cause you can access it from the phone app. Like be fr 🤣
Didn't know speed limit in US was this low in some places... it's 120km/h pretty much all over Europe, in Germany in some places there isn't even a speed limit.
I will never understand the position of governments toward apple pre installing apps to make the phone function or to promote their own apps. They make the phone and the App Store so why wouldn't they promote their own stuff ? It's like building a store and not promoting your brand of products.

It's also not anti-competitive... given there's so much competition. If people don't like what Apple's doing they can easily swith over. Apple is literally in the most meritocratic industry.. the consumer industry. Where the consumer decides what they like when they don't really "need" you. Unlike Microsoft where they dominate the enterprise market not because they're good, but because they put themselves in a nearly monopolistic position where people need them. Everyone can hate Microsoft but they'll still be in business. Apple doesn't have that luxury.
It's is anticompetitive, but there is still enough competition that they can get away with it. The very liberal (not political) rules for pre-installed and integral by design smartphone software were developed at the same time that Apple redefined what a smartphone was, and they were by no means the dominant market force that they were when those rules were written.. So their practices were overlooked at the time. Anticompetitive is easy enough to see, but it's the anti consumer ramifications that are the real issue.
India gets a lot of phones from China. A lot of those bundled apps have CCP malware. India is making laws to address that, and Apple is caught in the crossfire. Though it wouldn't hurt to let the consumer make decisions for once.
best decision ever ... i really hate that u cannot delete youtube and other google applications on android... apple is far more better than android when it comes to user freedom....
some by default apps r necessary.. like gmail, youtube or crome.... just imagine if this apps r not there those who buy new mobile, they can download fake apps which is more harmful the google apps... which is more dangerous, pre install Google apps or unknown company apps???? So.. some limited Google apps r required by default, Google maps, crome, TH-cam, or other services of apps of google.. i would like to choose always google apps in all categories instead of other companies app..
@@ShivBalram I don't use Gmail or Chrome on Android. I disable both and use the nine email application and Samsung browser even on Pixel phones. Can use ad block on Samsung browser and no adverts in nine email plus better alternative email address support.
@@richarddcrossley how many people uses this app? becoz u have knowledge thats y u r using different app from well know source.. but its not same with other... 80% will go with by default apps.. so if some basic pre loaded apps will not come then out of 80% users 20% will go mistakly with other fake apps. which is more dangerous..... there are hundreds of apps which have almost identical app symbol.. people get confused and download those apps.. so Basic apps r necessary I think for safty reason...

Well in Latvia we have 110km/h in Sommer, 90km/h in winter. By Europes standarts 130km/h requires some extra infrastructure- fences, no U-turn spots (extra bridges), warning systems (for animals, crashes, dangerous weather etc.) and the most expensive part- frontage roads.

Something many forget, Apple and Samsung both install their apps as default. In both cases you cannot always uninstall. At least on Samsung you can redefine default apps.

You still can uninstall them. Just has extra steps.
