On a lighter note, I met the Legendary Sylvester McCoy here at the Comic Con here in summer.
That is a real shame. Go cycling with a mate and quite often call in at the heritage centre, never knew the railway had closed, didn't they get it extended only a few years ago?
the track on the extension is there but they have never run a train on it
@@ljtrains9430 I have heard that is why they failed, because they didn’t check their budget before extending.
What a shame to see this lovely railway like this, this would tidy up in a jiffy.

The council are interested in re opening the railway, it’s a matter of if and when
