I think this may be my favorite project you've done!!! I know I've said that before but you keep coming up with such awesome ideas. The way I like to cut circles is to router as far as the bit will reach on thick material, use a jig saw or band saw to cut all the way through like you did, then use a flush trim bit to ride along the cut routered edge to finish the circle. You did a super job but I would probably end up with some flat spots using the disc sander. I absolutely love the idea of using the little retainer feet. The 1/2" router depth really made the design stand out, the glass and base look great as well. What a fantastic job!!!
@@oldave100 Yes, a router table would be good but just elevating a project on something like bench cookies and using a handheld router works great too.
Love this! Love this! LOVE THIS! Especially those little big feet! Whenever something this great comes up I always save it in my “to do” file. Then when the time comes and I have the wood, I just pull it up and follow your instructions. That’s why I have one request from you guys. Sometimes you’ll say, as you did in this video, “Oh yeah, we sprayed two coats of clear so the transfer doesn’t smudge” or “should’ve chamfered (sp?) the edge first.“For those of us that are following along could you just add a text box telling us, at the appropriate time, “This is where you should spray two coats of clear” or whatever it is you just forgot to mention in the video. It would be helpful for us if you could do that, especially if we’re following along step-by-step. I just purchased two of your Bigfoot templates, and I may not make a table, but I sure will be carving signs for friends. Thank you so so much. You have no idea how much I (we all do) appreciate the free instructions and videos and the advice you give us. You guys are the very best! I’ve enjoyed and learned from you for years. Still learning! Big hugs and blessings.❤
Brilliant idea, those feet. Such a fantastic carving and the feet took it WAY over the top!!
Thank you, Donna! We thought it was a cool little touch

Thanks Lori! The flush trim bit is a good idea, especially if you have a router table set up for that operation👍👍

I love this table having seen a Sasquatch myself, it just compounds the belief that I really did and not talk myself out of it.
Thanks Tawanna! I've never seen one, but it would be pretty cool!
Another outstanding project from the Dynamic Duo!! Well done!!!
Thanks Frank!
THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Matt!👍👍👍
Simply fantastic! Unique, elegant, and I can’t wait to see more of these. Your creativity keeps expanding and it’s wonderful. Great job!!
Thanks Mark! We go more on the way👍👍
Fantastic!! I love the way it came out ❤
Thanks buddy!
I believe! Really great looking table guys!
😂😂Thanks Tom!
that came out really nice. If I do one, I would paint it. White mountains, green trees and dark brown sasquatch.
You should definitely do one, man! It would look great painted
Nice.
Thanks Mark!
Great job
Thanks man!
you guys make it look so simple - I was thinking when you you were going to pour epoxy btw love the outcome
Thanks Burt!
Awesome table ! Love the idea !! You guys rock the router world !! 🎉
HAHA thank you, Stacey!
Fantastic, you have given me a great idea for another small table. Will keep you posted.
Please do!
Very cool. Love the little feet idea. Really think the flat to rugged background process is great idea. Awsome job guys.
Thanks Charlie!
Absolutely LOVE THIS!! Great job and the feet to hold the glass . . . PERFECT 😄
Thanks Michele!
So you said the base came from Amazon do you have a link or name of base? Thank You
Honestly I can't remember. There's so many different ones on there
Any chance of selling those feet used to hold the top?
You can always email dad eric@makeawoodsign and see if he can work something out
Looks great
Thanks Helen!👍👍
Awesome job guys!
Thanks Richard!
Awesome! Love it.
Thanks Bill!
Awesome work looks great.
Thanks Ron!
👍👍👍 This is one of my favourite projects. Thanks lads😊
Our pleasure, buddy!👍👍
How much did you price it at?
I'm not 100% sure yet. Probably somewhere between $600-$800 depending on where you're selling at
Awesomeness!
Thanks Greg!
This is freaking amazing! Once again, I'm super inspired. I want to put my Superman 🦸♂️ cape on now. 😂😂😂
😂😂 Get after it, buddy!
Nice job EZ E...🤘🤘🤘
Very cool
Thanks DanO!
Very nice. Is the table held down by gravity??
Thanks Phillip! No, we added inserts in the table so we could bolt legs on
Pretty cool.
Thanks buddy!
That is totally cool. I love the way it turned out. Did you consider using resin instead of glass?
Thanks man! No really, because with resin sometimes you lose the depth of the carving
Love this! Love this! LOVE THIS! Especially those little big feet!

That's a great idea, Susan! I'll try to remember that in the video editing process👍👍
@@oldave100 Thank you so much!
Hugs 💜
Another Bigfoot sighting! Nice! 😊
😂😂
I'm glad you didn't use the hair pin legs that so many people seem to use. They always end up looking cheap and flimsy.
I agree. They're cool for some stuff, but there's way better options out there
Cool
Thanks Mark!
Nice
Thanks Robert!
I'm guessing you paid $34.75 for that router.
😂😂 It was such a good deal I left the price tag on!
Man the amount of dust after sanding that redwood. Definitely need a good mask.
We might have to get one eventually HAHA
Make something that has to do with ufo
That's a good idea!
I love your videos, but would it hurt you to wear a mask. The fine particulate mater is killing your lungs.
Thank you for watching and for the concern
yep its not exterior will fade quickly.
Yeah, this is an interior table
