Thank you so much for watching! This headband is sewn onto this cap. But what you can do is fold the head band under the wig when applying it to your head and then apply the headband the you want to use at the front of the wig. If you don’t want to fold it under, you can just apply another headband right on top of this headband and camouflage what’s needed to be hidden of the headband underneath. I’ll post a video very soon on exactly what I mean by that. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your video seems so explanatory and I love the outcome, I have watched so many tutorials on how to make head band wig, and I saw that most people cut out the excess cap, and even at the end they cut it into 2 and use this loop and hook to make it firm on the head. Do you recommend such method as well or the method you just showed us on your channel is the best. Thank you
I love the method that I use because it less work and you get the same exact results. The headbands that I sew onto the perimeter of the caps are tight enough to wear, the wigs do not fall off easily. The crochet caps that I use already has combs sewn into them so that is also a great cap to use as well. And of course for extra security you can also secure your wigs down with body pins. bigest guestion, as i am a visualised person. where do you stop doing the U partern... is it two inches above the ears before you start using the 'straight partern'

Hey! I do not sew through the elastic part of the dome cap, only the top layer. When you sew through the elastic part, you will loose all of the stretch you had in your band on your cap and it will be harder for your wig to fit. No once I get to the very top I begin to sew one finger width apart. You want you tracks to be closer in the front for good coverage. I will be posting an updated video next week. ❤️

You should measure the circumference of you head to see how many inches it is and then buy a mannequin head that is that exact size. That is what mainly determines how good your wig will fit on your head. You can also try different caps that would have enough stretch for you as well. Trial and error with the caps. Once you reach the temple area of the cap with sewing in a u-shape, after that I would begin going straight across. Let me know if this helped you

Hey! I do not sew through the elastic part of the dome cap, only the top layer.
