Amazing video. Worth noting a few things: If you’re chasing after the catalytic converter code, many folks have trouble clearing it with aftermarket cats, only finding success with the ~$700 OEM Chrysler version. Pending where you are at with mileage you may want to do the oil cooler at the same time as you have to remove the exhaust manifold for this job too. The Oil cooler is prone to leaks.
Great video! I don't have one to look at, but looking at purchasing one that might need the cat replaced. Did you have to remove the radiator or anything in front of it before starting?
DANGER DANGER,this is a perfect video BUT BUT.There is no mention of the age and milage of this sonic. I nave an 11 year old sonic. There is a good chance that some of my manifold bolts will BREAK.THIS WILL TURN A 3 HOUR JOB INTO A NIGHTMARE,especially if you dont have a welder. The fact that he didnt even put penetrating oil on the manifold nuts tells me that this was a 3 or 4 year old sonic. Again this is a PERFECT VIDEO ,BUT BEWARE.
