@@cipher8971 I checked the wiki, it's literally the same person as the ace combat 2 one. She was in Scarface squadron during ace combat 2 but retired and joined Air Ixiom as an airliner pilot. And yeah the ace combat 5 one which shows up at the end on 7 has the same name but it's a different person

@@axel665 Oh I see, they did try to stop them actually, the game doesn't say this but I think Flight 701 was hit during takeoff which injured the captain and why Nagase was in command. Also why they weren't able to fly at high altitude. I guess Erusea just wasn't able to shot them down from the ground somehow and took a bit to launch fighters. I have no idea how people got in the planes though or how they were even operating in the first places. I honestly never thought of that. Maybe they thought they were far enough from the conflict as Erusea did control most of Usea so they were able to fly in some areas.

Air Ixiom is just an airline, but here they were carrying Stonehenge engineers that could help ISAF so Eruseans were going after them
