I am generally shocked. I knew him from seeking help, his videos helped me through some difficult times/challenges. He was a beautiful soul and helped so many people with their mental health and anxiety. I am incredibly blessed to have met him, like so many. I can’t believe it. RIP johnny. You will be missed 😢
I ran into him when I was living in Riga, approached him and we had a coffee and talked about game and life, he was such a nice and insightful person and so I will not forget this man RIP
He lived a better life than 90% of men out there. Got the opportunity to live in one of the greatest cities on earth, talked to thousands of women from all over the world and impacted men in ways very few have ever done. RIP John.
Johnny was a good man he helped me in the darkest hours . if only I knew his struggles I would have called out Prime . rest in peace and hopefully your next life in another world will be lovely
Rest in peace Jonathan 🙏. l'm sorry you were in so much emotional pain. It makes it more tragic the fact that Johnny was such an open and vulnerable person, but he was also brave and a fighter as well, not just with his dedication to boxing, but how willing he was to confronting his insecurities especially with dating and socializing and I also respected how authentic he was, which Ed eludes to in this video.
Sad. He had to start from a pretty rough place and showed a lot of balls to get into the game community. The most positive thing you can say right now is he left a worthwhile legacy of helping other people.
Women's part in men's mental health is huge. A lot of men turned their life around when they found a loving woman supporting them. To all my boys stuck in the struggle out there, be strong and stay safe. There might be some light atnthe end of the tunnel.
No no noooo not Johhny, he was one of the real ones, his content helped me tremendously back in the day. Very well said Ed, great words for such a kind and rich human being in all aspects. Helped a lot of men with their anxiety and confidence and awakening their true potential. I'm out of words and i was thinking about him recently, such a great soul. Adios brother.
RIP Johnny. I never met him, but I still play his videos before I go out to approach. He got mocked a lot in the community, but he probably helped more people than any other PUA. Overcoming anxiety is the biggest hurdle for most, and his videos were the best for that. I cried so much last night on hearing the news. A couple of weeks ago I watched one of his videos and he said something about suicide, and thought whether I should leave a comment or something or even message him and offer him some money. Then I forgot about it and last night I read he is dead. However, something has to be said. Both his and Tom Torero's suicides are related. Both were forced to give up daygame coaching because they were both targetted and 'exposed' by feminists in the media, leading Tom to contemplate bankruptcy, and Johnny Berba to get hounded by the tax man. Of course, not one single other person in the 'daygame community' will mention this, because anti-feminism lowers your frame and all that. Even Tom and Johnny were both 'feminists' utnil the end.
I completely agree feminism has caused a big riff towards men and women anything natural and biological they deem inappropriate and Evil. a lot of men are scared to approach women because of this movement. like you stated if we dare talk about this problem we get called a misogynist a racist is sexist paedophile and many many other things feminism has destroyed many parts of society including dating and because men are too scared to approach women in a natural way they take their own life I can't tell you the amount of times I thought about death just because dating is completely broken it's honestly devastating . Johnny was a good man and he wasn't a type to listen to the doctrine of feminism but I guess the struggles was too much
RIP Johnny Berba
Thanks for making this video Ed. I have an extensive archive of footage showcasing Johnny's prime years, filmed between 2011 and 2013. These clips capture his best daygame approaches, full of lightheartedness and fun. I'm thinking about uploading them-what are your thoughts?
Would be great to watch them videos again. He made approaching videos from 2011 up until late 2018 if I remember correctly. The reason he set them to private was because he wanted to become a life coach rather than just being a dating coach. Apart from the coaching his videos were also quite entertaining and they showcased London nicely around the area of St. James's Park / Covent Garden / Leicester Square / Monument / Trafalgar Square (Charing Cross) / Embankment / Bank and Barbican. All places are located in the central of London. When he just wanted to talk to the viewers he went into parks near the Buckingham Palace. There was another video where he went to Cologne, Germany and was at the train station of the airport. He's so missed. I wished he would not have taken the steps he made last week.
Doesn’t all these daygamers/cold approachers putting the rope up prove that getting into cold approach is deadly? When they go into their later years with no wife no kids no money (because they have been daygaming instead of working a real job) + all the piled up mass rejections they have received in their daygaming career, it all comes back to bite them in the ass eventually.
Most daygamers do eventually end up with wives & kids. Cold approach isn't the source of the problem. If anything, it is a distraction from the problem
@@EdGameCoaching “Most”? Just to name a few: Tusk, Troy Francis, Steve Jabba are all single while being middle aged, Torero was also not married. Seeing a married daygamer is actually very rare.
Absoloute bs It's actually better mentally to get rejected by a girl you find attractive than to be scared of approaching and then contemplating about "what could have been" Both Johnny & Tom suffered from high school bullying & financial issues. That's what caused them go over the edge. Cold Approach? Literally all male's do a form of cold approach in one way or another. Whether it's tinder, via freind's group or at their workplace. Btw Johnny stopped 'daygaming' a good 5 years ago.
It sucks that he’s gone. It seems to me there’s always something deeper going on with pick-up guys. He couldn’t find ONE girl to settle down with after all those approaches and dates? Same with Tom Torero… really smart guy and couldn’t find one girl to settle down with.
Anyone with a few braincells would be able to realise what a stupid and insensitive comment that is. Johnny quit approaching women many years ago so that has nothing to do with it. Instead what you are most likely doing is projecting your own fears of approaching women and rationalising why you shouldn't do it on to Johnny's death. This is completely stupid, disrespectful and delusional
@ no its not you brainless PUA. 4 coaches now and many more have ended their lives because they seek nothing but female validation which doesn’t help your inner demons. This is what PUA leads to. Depression, loneliness and isolation. Spam approaching thousands of women isn’t going to help you.
The reason he took his own life is because he was broke and had financial debt. Think about it, he was 41 years old, single with no family and no real job skills set. He was an inspiring figure who helped many guys through the years but unfortunately for him time ran out on his ability to make a living as a coach.
What a load of nonsense, Johnny had been coaching for over 10 years, have you heard of people skills? (Managing your own business is also a skill). He stopped working because of his mental health issues, that's why he couldn't make a living. He was suffering from OCD/intrusive thoughts, made worse by his close friend committing suicide a couple of years ago. Also, Inspector Clouseau, Johnny was probably the most popular UK dating coach, he was at 30k subs 5 years ago, this dried up because, one, he had a nervous breakdown, and two, when he came back, he followed his principles instead of chasing the money. He could have easily been at 60-80k subs.
i would have thought that with his dating talents, he would have been able to meet a woman to settle down with, sadly i assume he was unable to achieve that goal
I think this is quite spot on, so I agree with the op. He was clearly having financial issues, he reached out for donations, got ignored, got desperate. Bite me.

Naw.
All surface level metrics
Clearly the way he was living was not all it's cracked up to be.
No wife. No children. And now not even his own life

I can't believe hes gone and no more, he was an inspiration to so many battling mental health and depression
He was a great guy with (As you say) huge authenticity and vulnerability. RIP Johnny.
I done a lot of work with Johnny. He changed my life!
Sad news. A touching obituary Ed and a reminder for us all to touch base with our friends and ask genuinely how they're doing.

Tragic. Far too many relatively young men are taking their own lives and a lot more needs to be done to help people. May he R.I.P.

Yeah I think some sort of tribute could be a good idea. In memory of him. Dan mentioned to me he might want to do something with you on that.
Johnny coached me and changed my life. If anybody has info on his funeral then please let me know.

Maybe the thrill and excitements of dating multiple girls makes it hard to settle just for one girl and stop approaches.
Why are ex pua coaches taking their lives? The entire mens coaching has a deep hole in it. Literally putting a band aid on deeper problems.
