When you added the gold trim , how long did you wait before putting the top layer of resin on

Just 5-10 minutes. It hardens pretty quick. When I prepare the resin for top layer, the gold already hardened.

No. You should use UV Resin when you put the bubbles so you can cure it fast before the bubbles pop to create the texture.
