- Thanks to the donation of Genesis Crystals in the last video on the Swords Only account, and many comments suggesting I do so, I decided to try my luck on the weapon banner. The Mistsplitter would be a fantastic upgrade for Ayaka or Keqing. Question is... Can I get lucky?
MiHoYo put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... And then I saw Mtashed make a new account where his focus is just having fun on the account in Genshin Impact... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

Java just as a suggestion I'd recommend crafting the Inazuma craftable sword for Ayaka (the damage difference between Blackcliff and Anenoma is less than 3%) and putting the blackcliff on Keqing
Or roll on the weapon banner for mistsplitter again wink wink 😉

About ayaka talents. The priority is burst-normal-skill. For ayaka burst is mostly all of her dmg so just a heads up. Great video and it's fine to take breaks in a while
it hurt me seeing him level up the skill first... it's usually what does the biggest numbers but it has a 8 sec CD soooo
In a normal rotation Ayaka's burst is a little under half her damage even if you only use normal attacks. If you use CAs it's around 1/3. It just feels like more because it does so much of your damage in such a short timespan.
(If you level up her burst and neglect her skill and normals it obviously feels like more because it is more, of course. I'm talking about if they're all the same level and she's C0 or C1.)

@@Mehieddin7 That's just mathematically false. You can add up the motion values of all her attacks during the 20 seconds. Burst hits 19 times by the way (or about once per second). She gets higher net MV/s from even N1C, which is suboptimal compared to N3CD with two Es interspersed. Her sustain is on-par with Ganyu's, her burst is just creamy bonus damage on top of that. People who don't know what they're talking about assert that it's 90% of her damage, which I guess is true if you only use her E to buff her Q, pop her Q, then switch to another character as your main DPS or something.

since keqing's sustained damage is higher than anything ayaka has(without ayaka's burst ofc as ayaka's burst is literally what makes ayaka good)
which already proves that ayaka's sustain is far lower than ganyu's
ayaka's n3c Mv/s are very low to be even considered
go ask any theorycrafter and they will say that ayaka's entire dmg, or 90% of her dmg, comes from her burst, because in her best rotations and best teams, ayaka never stays on field for more than 7 seconds

What are you talking about ? The bad luck on this series is one of the things that makes this series interesting. Just image if he had gotten every 5 stars he attempted to get, it would be just too easy, but since he has spectacularly bad luck it makes the moments where he finally get something good even better. I also hope he continues this series, every episode is alot of fun.

The blackcliffe weapons only come every 2 months. That said. This is the only reliable way to get Kaeya cons, so save them for when Kaeya is in shop.
But didn't say that if he got ayaka he would switch kaeya with her?

I would get the Bennett constellation. Increasing the healing and damage bonus given by Passion Overload would help a lot. I think.
passion overload is his skill so it would just be a dmg boost. c5 is where you get the ult (fantastic voyage) talent boost - a c4 bennett haver

There are some reruns that have both of the 5* being useful
All the bells. He should have taken that as a sign. A warning even. Because he got the bell, in every pull except the 5* one.
So basically, what I was thinking is that you can make a keqing team AND a Ayaka team. Since Keqing and Ayaka in the same team wouldnt really make sence. Or, if you did want to put them in the same team, you could put them both and make kaeya the physical DPS. That would be good for easy superconducting.

As a Keqing main I suggest farming for 2pc Shimenawa + 2 pc Glad instead of 2pc ThunderingFury. The thundering fury 2pc is better but the difference is not that significant. You can also have Emblem set for Xingqiu or even Ayaka as Ayaka’s main source of damage coming from her burst
I agree! I ended up doing that for my Keqing too! But Emblem on Ayaka is extremely copium I believe xD

I Also run Keqing with 2x Glad / 2x Shimenawa.
For a half Year i used 2x Glad 2x Thundering flury, but the DMG increase is low and the most important thing are the stats

Just when I didn't know what to watch anymore... you never disappoint :)
Usually, the fighting events are super easy even with the hardest difficulty so just so, since they give more point, just try to use the hardest difficulty to claim all rewards.
PS: For Ayaka I highly recommend only hydro, anemo, and other cryo characters in the team solely because her burst will be super annoying to use since enemies won't stay in it.

for the starglitter, I don't think Bennett's c3 is worth it since it's just his skill. I don't know how good r1 blackcliff is but I'd honestly just wait for Kaeya to come to shop. his c2 is very nice and you can't get him from any event banner
blackcliff for keqing and forge amenoma kageuchi for ayaka since the damage difference isn't that much then just get the bennett con or if you do plan on continuing to use him, kaeya con is coming next rotation in the shop. i cant remember what constellation your kaeya is but his c1 and c2 are very good with c1 gearing him more towards a dps role by giving him 15% crit rate on normal and charged atk when enemies are inflicted with cryo and his c2 giving his burst more duration everytime you defeat an opponent which would be very good for ayaka for cryo particles

Pro tip for ayaka : If u apply cryo to any enemy when u come out of ur dash, ayaka will get a 18% cryo dmg bonus.
And yeah when u come out of ayaka's dash u do apply cryo
first he need to level up to get that talent
And you get 10 stamina too!

dont refine your blackcliff weapons, it's not really worth it, if you will get another blackcliff sword then make it for other character instead of refining it
Something I learned recently about fighting events, (not fully sure if it applies to all, but it worked for this one) is that you can actually get enough points on normal. The enemies give less points, however they are level 40 so they instantly die with the trial characters, which allows you to kill enough of them to get the full points (the full 2000). Its super helpful for lower AR worlds. I recently started and alt and was struggling till I learned this, then I also did it on my main because its just easier. I personally found it to be more fun, because who doesn't like constantly shredding through enemies :)
It doesn't work on potato devices coz enemies take long to spawn 😂
Hey Java, I reccomend using a farming video instead of using the interactive map for farming Sakura Blooms. That’s what I used and it was it easier then the map.

Bro I am sorry to tell you this but in terms of consistency and overall dps the anemona kageuchi aint that far behind blackcliff..... especially with high refinements it helps A LOT with ayaks burst uptime.

I am here already have a lvl 90 Blackcliff, lvl 90 R5 Amenoma and now a lvl 87 Mistsplitter (not 90 coz lack of pink stone) all for Ayaka coz I use no other sword dps🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Now that Mistsplitter banner has been extended, you should definitely go for it
(tl;dr: kaeya>bennett>>>blackcliff, get amenoma for ayaka)
14:00 Constellations on Bennett and Kaeya are way better than refinements on the blackcliff longsword. 3% more atk after killing an enemy? Not a big difference, and useless against single enemies like bosses. Bennett constellations are all one step closer to c5 (or c6 if you want pyro Keqing/melt Kaeya) and Kaeya constellations are really good.
So, the real question is, buy Bennett now or wait for Kaeya? To which I say Kaeya. He’s good with Ayaka, so you can easily fit him in a team for spiral abyss, and he’s only obtainable on standard banner. Bennett’s c2-4 aren’t great, and his constellations will (hopefully) come with time from all that wishing you’re doing.
Another reason you might want blackcliff would be for Ayaka. I, sir, have two words for you: Amenoma Kageuchi. It’s a craftable sword from Inazuma that you can get the blueprint to from a world quest. It has an atk% substat and a passive that, in short, refunds some energy. This is important as a large part of Ayaka’s damage is from her burst and the energy refund means you don’t have to worry as much about energy recharge.
You can tell Java really wanted to play Keqing. He maxed her immediately and bought her skin, meanwhile Xingqiu has been sitting at lv. 70 for a while

I know I'm 1 year late but it's kinda ridiculous you got a 5 Star Claymore, Catalyst AND Bow before getting a 5 Star sword
Just a suggestion, for Keqing as a main DPS, one of her best weapon options is The Black Sword due to its passive, this also means that if your other artifacts give enough crit rate you can run a crit damage circlet, and crit dmg circlets give more crit dmg than the blackcliff weapons. In general the blackcliff weapons aren't the greatest, but it could be given to Bennett due to its high base attack.
I challenge u to wish on the starter banner..
Java, just a heads up if you are too lazy to farm the kequing domain for 4 pic thunder then you can do 2 pic thunder and 2 pic gladitor thing and for ayaka blizzard strayer is the best option you have xinqu so it will work out great and maybe for albedo or xinqu one of them can have nobless 4 pic ( increases atk by 20% for everyone in your party ) I just wanted to give you some tips good luck on trying to get ayaka sword!

I'd recommend Amenoma Kageuchi for Ayaka, And putting Blackcliff on Keqing instead as Amenoma is one of Ayaka's best F2P Weapons (FYI Amenoma is the craftable inazuman sword) Other than that amazing video as usual I pulled Ayaka, and went for Mistsplitter I got similar luck but anyways just wanted to say this made my day since I got locked out of an account I was really down and seeing this cheered me up... a lot so thank you for that!

If you go into co op and join someone doing Azdaha, you can do it without doing the story quest. That’s how I’ve been collecting Raiden boss drops

You’ve switched the boy in before to wish and I’ve got to recommend you bring him back for farming. Gorou’s passive shows Inazuma materials on the map, making it a lot easier to find the Sakura Blooms since once you’ve gotten the location of them from the interactive map you can find their exact placements in game. You don’t have to switch out to him, just leave him chilling in the party.

In June you'll be able to get a Kaeya constellation, I'd suggest holding on to your starglitter for that. Also, you should do the quest where you get the Inazuma sword, which is really good on characters with short skill cooldowns that want their bursts up quickly, like Kaeya and Ayaka (and Keqing, but Blackcliff is better for her I'd say). You'll even get a free sword billet (along with the blueprint for the sword)!

as an ayaka main, who’s been maining her since she came out, i still dont like her sprint and cant get used to it. it does get better after time but it still feels bad most of the time. i feel like judging by what ive seen on your channel, the characters you’ve played and your general playstyle (all speculations), i dont think you would like ayaka’s playstyle. her sprint just makes it uncomfortable. but ofc i could be just spitting complete nonsense and you could end up loving her gameplay. and i know the whole ganyu vs ayaka dilemma, where everyone just agreed that ayaka was easier to play. but as someone who’s also a ganyu main, i can say with 100% confidence that ganyu is atleast a million times easier to play and simpler to build. however this is all just my opinion please dont take this as hate or that seriously. i just wanted to say a bit about ayaka. but this is all not gonna matter if you’re just using her as a cryo applicator or a burst dps. the stuff i said above is only for ayaka main dps. so if you dont intend on using her like that, ignore what i said above

I also am a victim of The Unforged. I put it on Sayu and I don't know wheter I should laugh or cry. ALSO my anemo only account works so far, i got venti on his banner with no pity and a sucrose. now i want to get sayu from ayakas banner. let's see through how many rosarias and razors i have to go .

I would buy another blackcliff sword for ayaka. Because u can get bennett constellation in the future anyways. So 2 blackcliff swords on both of ur dps, keqing and ayaka would help u more in abyss.

Okay but what if you did a team eventually of Keqing and Ayaka, (two main dps) and that’s superconduct. That can help Kaeya because you build him physical. And then a flex slot for whoever. I was just thinking those teams could possibly work.
I guess I should feel lucky that the 4 weapons I got from the weapon banner were Homa, Stonethresher, PJWS and Elegy
If you wanted to check how the rental characters are built, enter the event with the character in question. Before starting the round, go into the character screen and you can view the character's stats, weapon, artifacts, and artifact total bonuses (you can't view each one individually). I think you can see their talent levels and constellations (don't remember as I wasn't checking out for those.
And yes, I know they're called trial characters.

The perpetual mechanical array is really resistant to physical fyi (I am an ayaka main so i have a lot of experience fighting it) Ayaka is a pain to farm for

I suggest getting the amenoma sword for Ayaka! That is her f2f sword. Other sword except for misplitter is not as great as amenoma
