We looked at this home on our visit to Italy. It's lovely, and I love the balcony . With renovation it could be a gem 💎.

I would take the bathroom completely out of the kitchen area and move it to the second bedroom with a walk-in robe next to it. If there was enough room I would make the loo separate. Then I would turn the current shower into a pantry and knock out any non structural walls in the kitchen.

I love it, just how it is, I’d use the “second bedroom” as a walk in closet.

Nice property because of the price. I have another idea. Move the kitchen. I don’t think that’s the original location. I believe it’s been moved. I would remove the stove and the sinks. Put a stackable washer and dryer where the stove sits. Remove both sinks. Put a proper bathroom sink in where you have the kitchen sink. Remove the bathroom sink. Put a rain shower in the shower area. But most importantly put some type of railing. I can understand now why Italians are great circus acrobats. Those stairs need ropes for when climbing the steps and for that bathroom. I can see slipping on those steps with water. That bathroom needs complete remodeling. But again. The price is fabulous. Wish it had a cantina

OMG! The tiles in the bedroom of this property are gorgeous!! Did the living space have the same floors? I don't remember seeing you pan low in that space. There is definitely potential in this one. Would someone need a car living in this village? Cheers!

If a person wants a car, where do they park it when it’s not in use? Beautiful place.

So odd how so many of these Italian townhouses are arranged in an "L" shape like this one, where the apparent upper floor belongs to the neighbouring property. Was this always the way from when the property was built or was there a negotiation some time later?

Consider that these towns are usually thousands of years old, houses usually hundreds of years old, so ownerships and needs would have changed a lot since the time they were built

Stairs without handrails in a bathroom? I mean what could go wrong?
