  • This work is deeply inspired by Bruce Lee’s book 'The Tao of Gung Fu', which explores physical and spiritual qualities of Martial Arts. The physical shape appears as silhouette against the light. The light represents the philosophy of Dao. It has no direct intention but illuminates the body through its reflection. Propagating arms carry motion into emptiness. The filled space fights the density of the empty space.
It is displayed at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum since Sunday. Many thanks to Silver Cheung (curation and set design) for inviting me to this project, for the book and the inspiring conversations.

great work, would love to hear more about the process of creation! Like what tools do you use? Is there a particular creative system you developed on your own?
