Thankyou....when I was going through very good times: I'm so smart, so intelligent than the others, etc. In bad times: Allah has been so unfair to me. He never gave me anything and probably never will, so why should I pray. Realize the folly before it is too late. So many of us have been through this, including myself.

Many bad things happened and i stayed grateful. I asked for help and forgiveness if i ever felt angry, if i ever felt sad. And tried my best to have good things. Yet I was depressed. Deep down depressed. Did not realise it. Stayed grateful. Then it hit. I did not enjoy life for a whole year if not more. I dont remember if i ever felt not sad. And Now I am shocked how could i not realise how depressed i was. Now it hit that i get real bad thoughts, so i am trying to not think and be numb. Else I get real bad thoughts.
Keep praying nonetheless brother/sister, and remember that even if you own nothing, which is the reality for more than half of population in this little earth, have faith that this life is like a drop in the ocean, keep praying and have faith that you will be compensated in the after life. This has been mentioned multiple times in Allah words, so believe it. Furthermore, if money and possession is a sign of Allah love, then firaun , Qarun will not be among the disgraced is it? May Allah makes it easy for you

Good things are coming. I believe it 100% i will come to you. i just can advise u if it feels too much, look at your surrounding. and think if it plays a big part in your depression. if it does, then maybe it's a sign to go somewhere else. i mean, always try something. do not only hope that everything will be good just because you try to think good, or be grateful. that will absolutely pay off in the end, but also try something. change something in your daily life. a routine. a habit. a hobby, whatever it is just try and change it. move yourself. avoid the thought of getting stuck. may Allah guide and protect you and us all through life.
and another thing, try to be more conscious of the present. from your writing, i can tell that you would think about the past often, or the future. what's past is in the past. Allah wouldn't want us to dwell over, or even question it. He just wants to see if we can cling on to our faith that everything happens for the better and for a good reason. in life it's true that nothing belongs to us, but it doesn't mean that we can't enjoy what we have right now. and when something didn't work, it really was just out of His way of testing whether we'd blame Him or even ourselves for failures, or we'd choose to move on, have faith, and smile again. the key is, never see the bad in things. it really is all about mindset. may He guide us always.
BTW I did leave another comment, but I beg to differ with you on this topic. I have behaved very badly in my past. I have done all the things that you mentioned and a lot more. I don't think Allah ever got angry with me. I have realized that nobody can be more merciful or forgiving than Him. He always calls us back no matter how badly we behave. We need to have the humility to accept that we were wrong.
Like a parent should be, but better, Allah knows you and will work with you and on you depending on your nuffs. Allah knows what you need to be tested with. Sometimes giving you everything you want and need is the test.

there are always two sides of seeing things; positive and negative. but on this topic i cant help but question... does Allah really mean like what this video interpreted? if so, i don't understand how He correlates to the concept of the All-Knowing or the Most Forgiving, as he stated something that makes Allah 'angry'. so far, i really just think that always try my best to think positively and see good in all things (which you may know is so so hard to do sometimes), and we would always be found by Him. no matter how dark it gets, no matter how much sin we do, no matter what really. He would always pull us back on track to Him. for me, He's supposed to be that loving. He is never angry. there's always a good reason why even bad things happen, and all is a test, but never because He's angry. He's just the All-Knowing, and all things happen are for the better. that's it. after all, we're all just human and we're imperfect even in our imaan and He knows it. but as i said, this video also has a good and positive lesson that i can understand really well. it's just another reminder to never stop being aware of our thoughts and actions, and to always be grateful. since that'd always be the most beneficial choice for us at the end of the day.
