Am I going to buy a plant shelf ever? No… am I watching the entire video at least a million times to support our girl Kaylee? Hells yeahhh
We love Kaylee Ellen with or without makeup. You are amazing either way.
As an electrician, I love to see this kind of light getting some love. There have been many brands over the years, barrina seems to have nailed it, from what i hear. I havent used any yet myself, im still using LED T5 style replacements that are really, really similar to these. They connect end to end without a connector. I have some in my greenhouse, have for years. After 7 years of hard abuse i finally lost one a couple months back. I have about a half dozen 2ft and a couple 4ft as well.
They are absolutely great. Im glad someone else appreciates the ease of use of this style light. Weve hidden them in all sorts of weird places.
Also we call the trunking "wire-mold" usually, but its a brand, kind of like "kleenex" that loosely refers to all like products. It can be a pain but it can also be super handy stuff.
The Barrina T5 grow lights I bought from Amazon a few months ago were magnetic, so the top row just attached to the metal roof of my Ikea cabinet. A really great feature, as you don’t need to drill any holes or rely on the tape!
I absolutely love that set up. Looks very sleek ❤
That was fun! Very nice. Thanks for bringing us along.
I enjoyed watching and appreciate you showing us everything. I will remember the lights if I need some. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What a fantastic job you did!! The cabinet looks awesome🎉l❤
Crazy timing ! I literally just received my barrina lights in the mail 30 minutes ago 🥰
Kaylee, We live in Alberta Canada, and after using GOO BE GONE, I will always use it for yucky things, but it does need time to set on things for awhile, I;m going to have to buy a new bottle, because my husband is always working on cars or equipment as a Hobby, and He ran off with mine, LOL He thinks it's fantastic too. Love watching this cabinet reset, as I still need to do my smaller one, and hope to get a Bigger one, one day. I love my cabinets!
I have the same lights. You can connect the lights together in a sort of "daisy chain" and then only have one cord connecting to the power source.
That's what I did for my Vittsjo shelf.
Yeah I realised this in editing 🤣 i suppose it's still good I didn't have to work with the timer packs amongst the trunking though
@KayleeEllenOfficial Oh, absolutely. Those timer switches would be a pain to maneuver. I have 16 T5 lights (8 of the 1ft and 8 of the 2ft) connected together into a wifi timer plug.
Wow you did a fantastic job !! I love that trunking! I may have to buy some for my tables. The wire drives me nuts. I really enjoyed this video thank you!
Love this for today! My cabinet has been in disarray forever 😂. And yay for no makeup friday ❤ keeping it real
I've been using these exact lights for a little while now. Love them, but keep an eye on the sticky pads, some of them dont stick so great for some reason. I have mine plugged into a smart timer so i can keep them on a bit longer. Keep up the great content!
It looks so good!! The trunking is a cool idea.
"I love how I'm giving a tutorial when I've literally never done this shit in my life" 😂😂
Love your cabinet ❤ I had to do something similar with lights i used in mine as the power cables weren't long enough so managed to source some on eBay.
Very nice Video! BTW - did you know Barrina makes these lights in Black??? They completely disappear in the black Ikea cabinets :))
It looks beautiful!
I like this unhinged and raw you 😊
I believe in low effort!!! You look great!
Good job!
Where is my little 4 incher 🤣🤣
A popular problem I'm sure
@ 😂
Maybe they are not sold in the UK but barrina has black lights with black cables, they'd look great in your cabinet
So cool
I had no idea you could get those acrylic shelves from Amazon! I’m going to order some in a very suspicious way 😅🖤
Looks sooo good! I only use barrina’s and it’s been years. How are the boys doing? 🐈⬛🐈⬛
Could you stick the lights onto the inside of the door where they both meet? That way the light comes from the front so the leaves will also face the front rather than upwards, or is it not such a big deal? Just a thought. (And no, I don't have a cabinet, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. 😉)
T8 Monios/Barrina are stronger than the T5 Monios/Barrina. I sun stress my Hoyas and keep my succulents under Monios T8. All of my Aroids are under Monios T5. Not fond of the Barrinas, and seem to get better growth with the Monios.
Luv the tattoo 👍
I found those lights don't provide enough light for my plants, ok if they're right above the plants, they also are very dimly lit when off using the timer function, not really an issue as it's very dim, i found the T8's better, more room for growth
I would have totally just painted my cables. My diy is a lot more slap dash style aha
nice
Hi, quick question, any reason you choose to put pon in your self watering pots instead of leca? Especially wondering since most of the plants in your shop (r.i.p) were in leca :) Thanks for the content btw! Will enjoy it after writing this comment.
She’s said before she prefers a pon medium because it works better in the self-watering system she uses. You get specific LECA self-watering pots though. The shop was grown in LECA so it was easier to clean the roots for shipping and phyto certificates
Yeah to add to this- my humidity is lower in the house than in the shop so the pon helps with that 😊
@@KayleeEllenOfficialoh heyyy girl ❤
@@klaaskingma7435 @KayleeEllenOfficial Thanks a lot for your responses :) Makes total sense. Will keep using pon in that case.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s funny you don’t know about go be gone. It’s popular in the US. Also use a razor blade to clean glass
Just curious why the lights only come in white. Too bad black wasn’t an option.
@@GreenWitch1 They do come in black. They just always seem to be sold out.
@ Oh. Bummer. Thanks for the info. Im going to be adding some lights under my shelves & I need black.
I can smell that goo gone from Michigan.
Lol am I rly the first comment.
i thought i had read every manifestation book out there, but Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane hits different. it’s damn near impossible to find, but after reading it, i see why. it doesn’t just talk about manifesting, it explains how to shift energy in a way that actually works. took me forever to track it down, but it was worth every second
i kept seeing people talk about this book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, but when i tried to find it, it was nearly impossible. took me days to track it down, but once i read it, i got why. the stuff in here isn’t just theory-it actually works. made a few small changes, and opportunities started showing up like clockwork. if you can get your hands on it, don’t hesitate.
