London dept stores really know how to do Christmas. It’s like their trying to outdo all the other stores and that just adds to the Magic. Thanks Hannah!
Back in 93 when I was in London and most of GB, you just didn't see the elaborate decorations in the retail stores and restaurant's that you see now
Have you been to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? Their shopping malls did way bigger
I think Harrods still pips Selfridges as the most luxurious store in London, if not the world. Selfridges should send you one of those mini Smeg pink Veuve Cliquot fridges as a thank you for promoting them so well.
After years of covid, stress, losing jobs, worrying about ones health ect. It's so nice to see traditional Christmas displays. I think we need to visually take in these sparkly delights and think of better times...ahead.
It seems this year, the West End and the big London stores have gone absolutely full-on for Christmas this year. It really looks spectacular..and kind of a bit overwhelming! So, thank you for for giving us condensed a view of it all, Hannah. Really enjoying the vlogmass!

I’m a retired Flight Attendant for American. I only flew Europe the last 10 years. Oh how I miss London Christmas decorations. Loved Selfridge’s and Harrods. Paris was also a big favorite of mine at Christmas. You do a beautiful job of showing us around. Thank you so much.

Even though each high-end store is obviously doing Christmas, they do manage to put their own spin on it with different "moods" of decor, treats, etc. Fun to see all the variety, especially in the store's decorations. Thank you, Hannah for doing Vlogmas -- more work for you, more fun for us!!

That's a very good concept to not have gifts and not go into a buying frenzy in Christmas time. I feel the same. In my family we just exchange edible goodies. Being able to spend time together is a gift enough for us.

Great video Hannah. I know the movie scene you were referring to: Big (1988) ans the scene with Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia where they play the giant piano on the floor. Thanks for taking us on a christmas tour of Seldridges. That separate store area on the 4th floor was great. The windows outside were very interesting too. Thanks again Hannah, and "Til next time!
I think she met the scene from Love Actually when the husband was buying the necklace that wasn't for his wife. The Big scene was filmed at FAO Schwartz in NYC. Two great movies in any case.

Hannah! You are now one of my Christmas traditions! I discovered you during the pandemic and you made my holiday so much brighter by visiting the shops virtually. Now I watch you every holiday season. I studied in London oh so long ago and you are really bringing back the memories (although I don't remember things being that posh back then...I was on a college stipend LOL)

Selfridges wins in my humble opinion. That was awesome. 😊 A shame none of these shops have anything Hanukkah related. 🕎 Here in Canada and in the USA they now carry a good amount of Hanukkah decor amongst the Christmas. My husband and I spend a lovely afternoon at Selfridges in late September. I had my my make-up done at Charlotte Tilbury and we had lunch in the food hall. Delightful. Would love to return but it's a long way from Florida. I based where to go on your Vlogs. Thank you.

At 14:04 there is counter with apparently handmade chocolates. That is what I would have tasted. I like to mix my own ingredients into melted chocolate.

throughout the video i was like how can you not buy anything haha and then you addressed that in the end😀 id prob have spent thousands in few hours there, everything is really top-notch, well designed and made, beautifully displayed and the deco is stunning! Hannah, I don't think the decoration at 8:00 was meant to be a New York taxi, it was simply meant to be a Selfridges branded car, as it had the name on it and was in their signature colour. But I do agree that it looks more like a New York cab :)
