With this animation style, you cannot name it "anime". Animes are cartoon that JAPANESE make and they have their own style. (Big eyes, exaggerated gestures etc.)
In Japan, the term "anime" actually refers to ANY form of cartoon or animation regardless of cultural origin. The only ones that give the team "anime" that definition are generally western fans. It's kinda like saying Americans are not allowed to bake Danishes, a pastry that originated from Denmark, just because they were created somewhere else. Imagine pastry chefs around the world chastising anyone who used the term 'danish' to describe the style of dessert and demanded anyone to refer to those desserts created by other nations by different names. Wouldn't that be silly? Yet we do it all the time, crying anytime someone calls Avatar the last airbender an anime because... well... there are no solid reasons. Even if I called Avatar a life-action TV show, it wouldn't actually change the content of Avatar, nor the content of other TV shows. Calling this "anime" doesn't change the quality of the content, nor does it suddenly diminish the quality of Japanese-origin animation as a whole. At the end of the day, 'defending' the term "anime" doesn't protect it from anything, because there wasn't anything to protect it from in the first place.
I think it's really touching that Jinx came back to help them in the end. Considering her lore as a sort of "I don't care about anything, I just want to destroy stuff." character, no one's been able to tame her, or make her see reason. She literally gets off on causing chaos everywhere she goes. But somehow, out of everyone, Lux was able to reach her and make her actually care about protecting something, instead of destroying it.
i wouldn't say she only wants to protect and not destroy. I'd rathe say Lux actually managed to make use her enthusiasts of chaos for good. In other words she's basically the wild card that every superhero team needs
