Thank you for demonstrating the led pattern when you switch modes. I read the instructions manualand could figure out what's "full to front" or "front to full" but now I fully understand by looking at the LED patttern.
I wish this had a white version, but you may have just sold me on this mic. The quad cast is a bit much for what I need/want, and I don’t like the big LEDs on the mic. Great video.
From what I could tell in the comparison, the duocast sounded the clearest of all 3, the solocast was more "boomy" when you were tapping on the desk, and the deity sounded more "mic-ish"
I have the solocast, and i can admit that it does sound a bit harsher in the high end.. if accidentally shouted/screamed/jumpscared, then some people on your discord call will get surprised.. but it's still a great value tho

Hi, great review! Question: I'm using a USB amp for my PS5. If I connect the Duocast to my computer with USB and connect the Duocast from it's headphone jack to my amp (PS5) can it transfer sound to both my PC and PS5 at the same time?
Am looking at buying it as a first mic and think you just sold me on it, its on extreme special here in Australia at the moment for 69 AUD which is just under 44 USD so cheap as chips
@@killura7 I got one recently and love it, good sound quality and deals with other room noise or impact sounds much better than SoloCast. I will say I'm not the biggest fan of how S sounds are quite sharp - you can hear it in the video when he compares the two. I got mine 30% off for a Christmas promo and at that price it's 100% worth.
If they are the same price in your country, base it off what you need. Do you need all the features that come with the quadcast? Get that one. If you know you'll never use more than 2 settings, get the duocast. Both sounded great in the video (personally like the duocast more)
I don't think you can adjust the color, but with changing colors, it also lights up from 0-100 around the ring, so I think you should be able to tell what level it's set to. The software also shows current gain.
i just bought it and im getting alot of feedback on my end im not sure whats going on. I used a voice recorder and i didnt hear any feedback but with whatsapp and discord i hear the feedback. is thier a way to fix this.
If everyone checking about the DuoCast you more feature with the hyperx ngenuity software like limiter, high pass filter, EQ, and noise reduction in the software. $100 for DuoCast for all those features with the software.
Im using HyperX Quadcast S. It's an amazing MIC and I have made a full review video on my TH-cam channel But, I think the DuoCast Mic is the SWEET SPOT from HyperX Thanks a lot for the AMAZING Review as usual man 👌👍
So $99 for the DuoCast when the Quadcast S is literally just $20 more. I think the SoloCast S is worth the extra $20 and this mic just sits at a weird price range.
@@CodeVenomSnakes they are advertising the Quadcast S as their flagship mic. So I doubt the duocast has more features. They wouldn't make it cheaper then the solocast if that was the case.
@@sharkbait7854 where on the website is Solocast S. Mic that are listed on HyperX website is Solocast, duocast, QuadCast, and QuadCast S. There is also Solocast that is new. Hyperx is adding feature through there software. The cloud 2 did not have software support and now the wireless cloud 2 does.

Just ordered this. Was loooking at getting the SoloCast when I found the DuoCast on sale at Walmart's website for $40.
They got some on clearance rn for $25

I bought the Solocast today, along with a boom arm and shock mount as suggested. Found out about it after a friend recommended it to me.

A music sound test would be nice to compare more in deep the full audio spectrum.

Im not sure if it was just me but i couldnt notice that much of a difference in voice quality between the duocast and solocast
im not any audiophile but i heard a pretty big difference

How's the software? I saw on their product video that they made this microphone customizable, how are the filters? (High Pass, noise gate etc.)
Planning on doing another video covering this soon! I only see a high pass filter in the software.

the pricing of the duocast is kinda too high, at a $100 i would pick the quadcast for just an extra $20
duocast have more feature in the software and where the quadcast does not have that.

does it have background noise cancellation?
