It is a song with divine feelings poured in by Lataji and a wonderful composition by Hemant Kumar. I would rate this as the best song i have ever listened to.It has a out of world feeling which makes me move to tears and welling up every time Listen to it.
And I have never come across anyone ( absolutely anyone) attempt this song in live concert. And till now, I could never believe anyone could do so.

Sangeetaji proved that it is the music director who is in control and not always the playback singer. I am sure Sangeeta could have sung this masterpiece by Hemant at that time with the same sweetness as Lata did.

Nothing but divine voice.
What a marvelous artiste Sangeeta is ! You can't find the slightest flaw in her renditions even with a fine tooth comb. Lataji is rather fastidious and doesn't dispense praise easily, but for Sangeeta she should have many warm hugs and blessings especially because, as I recall, Lataji considers this song among her favorites.
... And the orchestra is, as always, meticulous .
