We need you in Ottawa- Canada almost nobody knows how to do it or they charge like 400$ like come on it should not be so expensive. Good job I do have one key and want to program the other one. If i get the one from e bay that has a chip could that key be programmed??? Thanks
400.00 is too much? How much in the Volvo DIY forum was it ? Geeez..... but you will likely get a price break on doing two at the same time, and most will not touch used parts from Ebay. Your mileage may vary
You should look at what is involved to do this 400 job. It’s not an easy job. If it doesn’t work do you pay the guy? No. How much time is involved to get your job done. Cost of equipment? Skill level. If 400 is too much you don’t need a key. Before you tube you choices are the guy who knows how to do it or the stealership. TH-cam has helped cheapen the industry.
You can solve All-Key-Lost on XC70 (2008) with IM508+XP400 Pro via OBD. It works, but you must be patient, it will take about 8 hours. I recommend external power source for battery. After decrypting you are able to learn new keys. I made it yesterday.
This has to be the most ridiculous way to go about programming a key fob but it comes with so many options to really mess things up with a soldering gun........on a system you can guess at by looking at a circuit diagram.
Hi! Do you know If im608 with xp400 pro is able to clone Volvo V60 CEM module R5F64525KPD? It can do all Keys lost for this cem type but not sure how to clone it... Thanks!
Thank you sooo much brother for the information on how to add key on volvo XC70.
GREAT WORK,,, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can a used key be cleared/renew and program to volvos? Thanks
Nice work. Good Video
Good movie, best regards, Adam
Great video. Quick question- can i read immo from cem using only im608 through obd or i need xp400 pro also?
Good video. You noted it takes very long time to find out the data via OBD. (How long is that?) So you took the way by removing CEM and soldering.
Can the CEM module be replaced in similar process with this equipment?
Very well done my friend. Where did you end up sourcing the key? Key Innovations doesn't seem to have them.
Does this work on P3 Volvo 2016 ?
One more time........... comparnament. Lol. Can I do another key myself if I have 1 already?
did remote work or do you need other tool
Yes everything worked the way it supposed to
how much do you charge?
Great video. I have one key. If I just add a semi key, do I still need soldering? Thank you
Yes I believe you still would have to remove and solder
You can add a key thru obd but that Will take forever. Thru obd I do them overnight!
@@Peter-hc4di yes I think I mentioned it in the video. Like you said it will take overnight to calculate the eeprom data through obd.
@@huyug1 Yes Huseyin you did! I was only replying to The question above! Thank you for The upload! Best wishes from Sweden!
good job

Thanks a lot! Yes as long as it is a new key you should now have problems.
$400 is a pretty good price, imo, especially Canadian $

Hi, have you ever tried to extract or decode CEM pin code?? Thanks for video!!
Hi, I have never tried it but there maybe be softwares which are able to extract it.

Welcome to locksmithing my dude

You would just transfer eeprom and flash file if available
