I love how even after defeating Kaido, characters like Shanks shows up and shows us that Luffy still has a long way to go. The number one consensus seems to be that Luffy better become strong enough even without his DF to stand a chance of becoming pirate king.

Luffy and the others must be very proud of Momo when they witnessed his potential with their observation haki. He stood up to Greenbull without fear or regards for his life. He fought for his Red Scabbard group, Strawhats, and Wano. Thanks to that he was able to awaken his Dragon abilities. Momo will become a real potential character in the future when he developes more skills for his dragon form and his swordsmanship.
I love that it shows what Kaido said to be true about it not being enough to have a powerful DF if you dont also have the Haki. Like if you dont have the Will to rule, youll never have the Skill to rule.
One thing I've really grown to enjoy about One Piece is that some of the most powerful dudes in their world are essentially "Basic." No cool gimmick powers, or special bloodlines, just guys with an extreme level of control and understanding of a basic magic system that anyone can use. Scenes like this really highlight the two extremes of Blackbeard's crew being all DF users (BB having the strongest gimmick power) and Shank's crew being extremely principled non-DF users.
I was shocked when Shanks used the supreme Haki to a certain 1 guy. I never thought that this is possible to control. If Shanks could do this, how much more the former King of the Pirates Gol D. Roger, it should be a tremendous supreme Haki!
I think in terms of purely conqueror Shanks has better conqueror then WB and roger ,or almost the same level of haki I also think Shanks has a more efficient use of haki

When manga panels are animated it's gonna always be longer because they have to show the movements instead of just 1 panel to the next, they have to show the inbetween.
Momo has the potential to become very strong, even if he isn’t a natural-born fighter. I can only imagine how strong his Hybrid form would be judging from how powerful it made Kaido.

In the manga the haki lightning was hovering in the sky from shanks ship all the way to greenbull scaring him but in this one its like weakening him and killing his observation

I LOVE the way they scaled his Conqueror’s Haki from down the waterfall to all the way to the capital. Literally this is the greatest Haki Feat from a single person at the moment, even in Manga

Don't be cherry picking. 1. Ryokugyu will fight them when the right time comes, as he said. 2. Kuzan won. Not even breaking a sweat, zero injuries. The anime nerfed shanks. In the manga greenbull was terrified. It was like his soul left his body when shanks attacked him. But in the anime it looks like he is casual about it. It looks like shanks warned him and and greenbull took the warning and peacefully left. But in the manga it looked more like a threat and it looked as if shanks had punished him.

Shanks and Whitebeard are the uncrowned kings of their respective eras after Roger’s death. The era between Roger’s death to the beginning of the Time Skip was claimed by many as “Whitebeard’s era”, and even though he wasn’t the official Pirate King and was part of the Yonko system, he was clearly the most dominant and influential one. Now it is Shanks, and I believe he will claim the One Piece before Luffy. He wants to secure his Captain’s legacy from falling to the wrong hands (World Government or Blackbeard) until a suitable claimer (Luffy) arrives to claim the One Piece
From another perspective, Shanks just saved that idiot Ryokugyu’s life. Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbei were watching the entire scene over head. If the worst scenario happened to the Scabbards, Momo, ane Yamato they’d join in. Green Bull would have faced the one who defeated Kaido, his Right and Left Hands, and a former warlord. It’s either he was powering down or shanks kings haki can deactivate df’s . That would be insane if he could do that . Because that would give luffy something to use against 2 df’s user Blackbeard.
As far as we know, it doesn't deactivate dfs. However, it does in fact deactivate observation haki, including future sight. For that reason Shanks is called the killer of observation Haki. Oda revealed this information together with one piece film red, and is supposed to complement this exact scene in the story.
It HAS to be much more than that, there is a REASON Oda had no issue gradually revealing the advanced uses of Busoushoku and Kenbunshoku but not Haoshoku, there are definitely levels to this ability we haven’t even begun to see yet.

I don't think Luffy knows much about Shanks's Conqueror's Haki since he last saw Shanks around 9 years ago and Luffy wasn't experienced in Haki when he was a kid back then.
I personally think that Oda is using Shanks to showcase what kind of fighter Roger was as well. I'm pretty sure these are Roger techniques including Divine Departure for all the Kid fans 👀😩

It's the humiliation of the year, Shanks has once again proven that no member of the Marine can be at his level for those who doubted now I hope for you that it is clear. Shanks didn't even use 100% of his Conqueror's Haki and look at how he easily incapacitated a Marine Admiral, when you see that you realize how much fun Roger was literally having with the Marine and that he surrendered himself to them because no Marine soldier was able to capture Roger and Shiki confirms this.

It looks like shanks warned him and and greenbull took the warning and peacefully left. But in the manga it looked more like a threat and it looked as if shanks had punished him.

As far as we know, it doesn't deactivate dfs. However, it does in fact deactivate observation haki, including future sight. For that reason Shanks is called the killer of observation Haki. Oda revealed this information together with one piece film red, and is supposed to complement this exact scene in the story.
