21 PH seafarers rescued from MV Tutor arrive at NAIA, narrate ‘trauma’

The 21 Filipino seafarers rescued from MV Tutor that was attacked by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Monday, June 17.
The ship's captain, however, said they were happy yet traumatized in coming back home.

May ibang barko na rin po ang dumadaan dyab especially cargo ship sa red sea. It just so happen na baka may appointment sila na need dumaan sa red sea. And also I think it is not good to invalidate their trauma brought by the sudden attack. Wala naman po sigurong magsasakripisyo ng buhay para lang sa malaking sustento diba. I'm sure these seafarers were scared but remain firm and hoping to survive. If may sustento man sila sa gobyerno or sa company nila, I think they deserve it, hindi dahil sa pinilit nila dumaan sa panganib kundi dahil sa nanatili silang matatag sa kabila ng di inaasahang panganib.😊

@@yen_chttphn2086 dahil sa kapalpakan nila naging downgrade na ang pilipinong marino... Bagsak na nga ang maritime system sa bansa kasi di tayo pasuk sa global standard hito pa dinadagdagan pa nila itong isang katangahan.. isipin mo hindi lang sila ang nag iisang marino dituh sa pilipinas halus million din. ngayon pati NYK natatakut nadin mag invest ng marinong pilipino...

@@celsladroma8048 tama naman na mau authority ang kapitan but ang kompanya parin nila ang naglelead. Mag mga tao naman po sa kompanya ang nagnanavigate ng byahe nila. We both don't know what really happened during the incident or sa byahe nila. Parehas po tayong wala dun pero at the same time, wag po nating ipalabas na parang sustento lang habol nila. I guess we will have to wait for the official statement about what truly happened. No one would endanger their fellow just for compensation unless out of greed. But that's not what I observed and saw from the raw footages released and even sa mga national or international reports.
