to be fair, in that instant the draft itself kept giving him lights and darks. they are quite possibly the two most common attributes. honestly, if anything doto has the spirit of joey in him, not just the luck, but specifically that everything either goes beyond perfectly, or blows up in his face, often both in the same duel, multiple times, and always his fault.

I kinda like this format. The limited card selections forces you to be really careful and creative with the draft by choosing lesser known cards instead of instantly grabbing all the overpowered staples.
Btw in legacy of the duelist there isn't a pack for each character, so some character packs have other characters cards built in them. For example you get Pegasus's toons from the Bakura pack.

If you decide to do this again, you ought to look up a wiki for all the cards that Jaden actually used in the anime/manga and each player gets a guaranteed 3 polymerization in the deck. Legacy is cool for a general idea, but it gives characters a bunch of cards that weren't even in the anime at all. It'd be a true testament to who is the real Jaden
