I'm not sure about supreme. The living tribunal was confirmed to be in the MCU in one of the Thor movies and I think mentioned as well in Dr. Strange movie.
In the center of the multiverse tree, he wears a crown that is not made of gold, he leans on the royal throne inside the cold and dark palace and holds the burden of the world in his hands and squeezes it so that it will not be destroyed. His hands give his never-ending life to the world moment by moment and in his silence he commands the world to live. And he is the God who is hidden from everyone's eyes and everyone's mind is unaware of it, but he preserves all their lives with his existence. He knows what he wants, what kind of god he needs to be, for you, for all of us.
I like that it is called "Glorious Purpose" Yet in the episode he learns its actually a Glorious burden. He has to accept that his "glorious purpose", is other people getting to live, but that will be a burden to him.
Not really. Any godlike being that doesn't have variants would be just as powerful, or more powerful than Loki. Anyone that is outside of all timelines. A movie cannon example would be the living tribunal. He wouldn't be able to alter Dormammu either as there his only one dark dimension and it's outside of time.
What he does represent marvel's old or core value of heroism. We often see this only on Spiderman story. But to see Loki does this. It's just masterful. With great power comes great responsibility. Being a hero most often than not putting yourself alone, renting cheap apartment, with barely financial stability, just like Peter Parker. There's no glory at the end of the tunnel, but much more risk and responsibility. Everybody wants to be Spiderman, but nobody wants to be Peter Parker.
I love the part where Loki gets blasted by temporal radiation, but Asgardians become more powerful the more they age. He is probably the most powerful being in existence.
in real time, loki's last line was to thanos "you will never be a god". And thanos laugh at him thinking "you a mere creature, dying in my hand". But who knew. Loki became "God of everything ever existing".

Loki is not the god of stories, if he was he could re write everything and anything. He is the janitor of the multiverse holding the time lines from dieing.
I don't get why he didn't just "know" that he was going to sacrifice himself and just go spend time with them. At the very end, instead of them just saying "Well, he's not here." They should have then turned around and saw a Loki saying "hi" and it turns out he spent 10 billion years traveling and making friends before his final saving.
