I participated in a book secret santa last year and happened to pull someone who looooves weird books like these, so I ended up getting them "Unhinged" and couldn't resist quickly reading it myself first... Not the best book I ever read, but certainly one of the most entertaining ones! :D And my secret santa was OVER THE MOON. For that reason, I can recommend you another book I almost chose for this occasion, which was "Wet Hot Allosaurus Summer" :')
These are the kinds of books that are insane but so fun - like the author was clearly just having a fun time writing such a weird story and I'm here for it! Glad you enjoyed(?) it!
