I don’t understand how you guys only have 100,000 subscribers. You are by far the best metal detectors on TH-cam. I see major growth with his channel over the next year.
After watching this episode, I wanted to binge a little more Hoover Boys. I started scrolling back through videos and realized I've already watched all the ones from the past 3 years. I guess it's time to start at the beginning with episode 1 and meet in the middle. Cheers boys and happy hump day!
If I had found that 1-ounce figurine, I might try to contact someone at the Smithsonian. Or a university archaeology department. Like you stated, it is the oldest spot you have ever dug. Usually, I am entertained and educated by your channel, today I am excited.
One thing I’ve learned in my relatively short time artifact hunting is the best finds often aren’t the ones that jump out at you right away. Epic to find some more unusual ornate colonial artifacts. What a hunt!
Mr Kurt,, you ability to identify the coin's you guy's find, with such accuracy. Really sets you channel apart! This episode was surely amongst your very best. Well done & thanx for sharing.
I don't even know where to begin, lol. That site is absolutely amazing - I hope it produces for years to come! Very much looking forward to more from here.
The sort of place that would be very hard to leave, incredible finds, always enjoyable hunts and great sense of humor, makes for excellent viewing, see you next week! Cheers!
Just like Clifford said YOU ARE THE BEST! I do have other channels I enjoy - but you make even bad detecting days seem fun. What a tease to leave us hanging for another week ….. but you can count me in for coming back!
I'm glad guys found this site. After a pretty rough river detecting summer for you and The Muck. This site was well deserved! Awesome hunt guys! Can't wait to see part 2!
great finds once again love it. i have just finished watching every episode now and i love the early ones from 6 years ago. love seeing Brad back into it again you guys seem to have so much fun together great job guys. and i do agree with another comment on here you guys are the best metal detecting show on you tube.
I enjoy each week of your presentation. Just a fun group of guys to hang with and good vibe even for someone who doesn't detect. Keep up the good work.
Kurt, that was a amazing hunt-video. I have always enjoyed your videos and you guys never cease to amaze me with your finds. As always I'm dying to see your next video. God bless and be safe
You guys lighten my heart everytime you find something interesting Every episode I hope you get some treasure but even if it's just a wheatie that's great by me. Good luck to all.
OMG, what an amazing site! I would not be surprised if that's not a tobacco tamper. Bill Dancy has a St. George one on the cover of his book on Virginia artifacts and a friend of mine found an identical one not too far south of where we hunted down here for Dream Hunt. You guys are killing it! Keep it up. Thanks!
Some awesome finds loved the pipe tamper and the cob , congrats . Glad that Brad's been making a showing , would like to see Bobby make a showing but I know he is allergic to sharks..........
Amazing finds for sure. Like that castle and tobacco tamper as well. How interesting history really is and stuff they don't teach you in school as well. You all have a great day and happy digging lol
Now I can't wait for it to be next Wednesday... Amazing first half of a hunt! I lean towards pipe-tamper on the figurine with balls and sprue... Very cool find! Hope all is well, see you next week!
Love watching you guys hunt and wish I could join you. I did find my oldest coin last week, beating my 1898 British large cent, an 1874 Indian in great shape.
I truly enjoy watching you guys having fun digging up some history!! That "dirty " piece you found is utterly amazing,Kurt!!!! You guys are so much fun to see get excited to find great treasures😊 (did that make sense? )Thanks see you next week!!!❤💋
Awesome video as always boys.,.the hinge that Bradley (lol) found at 16:00 is an old book clasp,it was used to keep books closed so that moths couldn't eat the paper
I my name is Andrew I am 12 I have been watching your channel for 4 years I live in ma so there are great things to find I just want to say thank you for getting me into metal detecting keep on putting up the content. God bless
Another great episode guys congrats to Brad finding the copper spanish cob and congrats to Kurt finding the possible tobacco stamper? And finding your sec copper spanish cob.
Crazy thing. I’ve barely detected my own yard. Old riverfront property. I always seem to go detect other places. I guess saving it for a rainy day. Great video as usual.
You guys are incredible… I look forward to Wednesday so much cause I get to see others finally do what I do and see the amazing finds you guys get! Even the not so great hunts disappear with a 16th-17th century coin in your pocket… even better is the one of a kind relics from the 17th-18th century (or earlier) that you guys pull up.. just nuts! Thank you guys for what you do!
Man o' man!! Wouldn't you like to go back in time and watch these things being lost? It makes you wonder what was happening when each item was dropped. Ancient finds!!
I have just found this site and am fascinated by what you find and the enthusiasm of pack. You hunt together, enjoy the spoils with no animosity or jealousy. Most of the time Kurt let’s us know who’s on the hunt but because l’m a late arrival l can’t distinguish the voices yet and as you are so enthusiastic with your finds sometimes l don’t know who found what till the display at the end. When driving to a site together it’s good as Kurt gives a promo of where your going and introduces who’s in the car but like on todays video l have no idea who found what (after l learned all your names from the first video and yes l am working my way through from day one as l have six days to wait till your next scheduled one) because now l have to put faces to nick names. This is not a complaint but my problem and l will have to binge watch to see who’s who and put a name to the voice. Thank you for a great show it’s very entertaining for those that wish that they could do what you are doing but for some reason or another cannot. A new fan from the other side of the world, down-under Australia.
nice finds..holy cow..I wonder if Brads compass was stamped with a maker or mark .....at 18:43 that looks like a sarcophagus or something that came out of 1...Deity figurine
would love to know more history on the 1600's era meravidis. What's there story. Why are they at that site in the US. Amazing stuff. I made an epic discovery of 5000-8000 year old indegenous artifacts in the spring ponds around home. Anyway would love to hear more.
The thing at 15:50 is for a kettle, when the water started boiling the steam would make it move up and down and make noise :) I found a ton of them over here in the netherlands. Probably 17/18th century
I don’t understand how you guys only have 100,000 subscribers. You are by far the best metal detectors on TH-cam. I see major growth with his channel over the next year.
I hope so. The Hoovers and the quarter hoarder crew are my favorites
Just found this tonight after watching Nicola White and Aquachigger videos. Subscribed.
I was happy they finally hit 100k, and it's growing fast still. They should have been at a million several years ago!
Share share share and share some more!
I have thought that for years. I love watching these guys. I wish they could all get together more often but life happens.
After watching this episode, I wanted to binge a little more Hoover Boys. I started scrolling back through videos and realized I've already watched all the ones from the past 3 years. I guess it's time to start at the beginning with episode 1 and meet in the middle. Cheers boys and happy hump day!
That's the way to do it!!
I've watched them all twice at least. Showed others more. I love Wednesdays!!
Look up the lucky charms playlist on there channel. Great early episodes of them.
Same
Wow some amazing finds! Looking forward to next week’s video! Some real museum finds.
If I had found that 1-ounce figurine, I might try to contact someone at the Smithsonian. Or a university archaeology department. Like you stated, it is the oldest spot you have ever dug. Usually, I am entertained and educated by your channel, today I am excited.
I'd dredge this area if you can, There's treasure to be had!!! Trullyyyyy!!!
Thanks for the fun Hoover Boys!!!!
