Woowww, I am in love with this color! Its like a muted gray, yet beautiful pale blue! Is the hatchback the only civic in the series with this color? I leaning more towards the civic ex coupe.
The car shines, but why the plastic is that called sonic. Anyways I can't wait till I get a Honda like that one but different color grey, with tent windows. Those guys guarded up with plastic like it was going to storage.
How much did that set you back, just got a 2020 sonic pearl gray sport touring as well! I do a lot of Interstate miles and rock chips are the worst! Plan on getting it tinted as well
I’ve had a couple cars done at various locations (before I found these guys) over the past couple years. Tint and clear bra is normally $1500-$2000, depending on who does it. It’s so nice to be able to drive the car and not worry about it getting chipped up. (I should mention, this video is not sponsored. I paid just like anyone else. 🙂)
@@andybrowning2179 That sounds good to me. In about 2 weeks i'm getting your exact car except its just the Sport manual in the Polished Metal color (I like your color better, but Pearl Grey+manual was too hard to find). I'm looking at all the problems I have with my current car and i'm trying to be proactive to prevent the same damage from happening to this next car. The one thing that really irks me is clear coat peeling. I don't have a garage to store my car, so it will unfortunately be out in the elements 24/7.
maestrojo film is very helpful. Another thing that helps with clear coat peeling is hand applying a good quality wax from time to time. I actually try to apply carnuba wax on my cars once per quarter. It is also helpful to avoid or at least limit use of automatic car washes.
@@andybrowning2179 yeah I was pretty diligent when I first got my current car but if you don't keep up with it, the paint job will quickly reach that point of no return where simply washing the car does damage to the paint. That's where I'm at now. Everytime I wash the car I get more and more flecks of clearcoat coming off.
I have fair skin and the tint offers both heat rejection and UV protection. So...I don’t burn, and the car stays cooler in the warm months. And...it makes the car look better, IMHO.
luser1973 Utah requires 50% in the front, I did 35% in the rear. I prefer 35% in the front as well, however. I like the balance of visibility at night, privacy, and sun blocking ability.
@@boardathome1232 Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at the same car, and color, but here in Pa the tint must allow 70% light in all around. I think what percentage you had would work well. Thanks again.
luser1973 After owning this car for a few months, it’s safe to say I love it! It’s a great balance between fun, looks, and practicality! The manual transmission is the cherry on the sundae! (In fact, I’m going to do my first TH-cam car review on this car.) I’m SO excited for you! Enjoy your new ride!!!
@@boardathome1232 we just bought one about 2 weeks ago. Same color but only an EXL, and the CVT. Not exactly the type of car I'd really enjoy, but I em. It's some how a fun little car to drive. Excellent fuel economy, really with a car like this there is no need for a hybrid. And it has good passing power. Pretty impressive car when you compare mpgs and get-up-go power.
I love this guy's voice! He could seriously read me the phone book and I would be like, "Mmmm hmmm."
Just bought the 2021 civic hatchback ex in Sonic Gray! 😍😍😍
Legitimately just bought this exact car yesterday.gonna pick it up today
It’s a fun car! For me, the manual transmission makes it! Enjoy your new ride!!!!! Congratulations!
Got the same one from the same dealer a year later. Too cool
Vinyl ... Definitely a young man's game ... Great vid!

Sonic the hatchback. Lmfao. You made my day

How long does the plastic wrapping around the car last?
maestrojo the wrap has a ten year warranty.

“That’s punny!” 😂
What is the tint for?

@@boardathome1232 I have the same problem. I have to drive with a jacket so I burn easy while driving. Should try tint.

Conrgats on soo much unnecessary plastic
Thanks man! I love it! It has kept my car looking so good!
