    Very useful - thank you - a related question: how can we automation/modulate the faders? I find the volume and smoothness difficult to control. Thanks - Great music by the way, I love your recordings.

    • @thewolfin
      @thewolfin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MixMaster has a V input for each channel which controls the fader, you get a colored arrow beside the VU meter representing the CV input/volume relationship.

    • @OmriCohen-Music
      @OmriCohen-Music  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, there are many ways, you can use the CV inputs for the level, you can use the Fade function, and you can do this prior to the mixer. I think the easiest would be to use the CV inputs for each channel.

    A Pro tip: If your patch only has 4 audio sources, you do not need a 16+ channel mixer no matter how cool it looks. I see this all the time. The more channels the more CPU. Use a mixer that is sufficient to your inputs. Even if it means sacrificing the bells and whistles.

      @@thenarproject7186 No worries :) And yes, you can record up to 15 tracks with one poly recorder, and in the right click menu of the recorder, you can set it to save separate wave files for each track, or even stereo wave files. I'm happy I can help :)

      @@thenarproject7186 did you record more than 2 tracks? Did you set it to separate the wav files to multiple tracks? Basically, if you record more than 2 tracks into 1 wav file, you will probably need a special way to play it back since it's no longer stereo.

    I have a question on this topic. Would it be possible to assign each of the channels on the VCV mixer you have there directly to audio channels within Ableton live 11. Ideally hit record, jam it out and the arrangement window would capture the whole thing?
