seeing the enemy team adapt their placement from where they hold angles to longer range is honestly very interesting
that's probably the biggest impact. his team basically got onto site for free every round
One thing I hate is that people say that "those who use the judge are just silver players abusing a broken gun." Like bro, you're not getting to radiant using a SHOTGUN this easily, this is the reason people like Buckiant and Dasnerth get undermined so much.

To me an easy way to counter a Raze like this is to be a Neon (yes I’m a Neon main) because with Neon you can use your slide to get right behind the raze when they are flying mid air, or you can just play with a judge too, then it becomes a accuracy contest.

I'm a judge main and I always switch to a more expensive gun. If I die and a teammate is using spectre, I make them pick my judge coz it costs more than a spectre :P
So is this a once a round thing cause it seems he uses it at the beginning of the round? Do his enemies learn to counter it? I suppose it’d be difficult to because the satchels are different each time. Honestly this is really cool and fun to watch in general.
Edit: When I say ‘it’, I’m referring to the double satchel then close-up judge shot mb :D

Idk how viable it is in this high an elo but if you have a team that can carry a lot of weight you can solo rat with judge on attack-side ascent. For defense we can anchor A site most of the time.
Best part is when you queue with Bucky he’s never toxic even when you do terrible in his games. He made getting into site so easy
I knew who it was as soon eggwick mentioned shotgun raze. I came across his channel by chance when qwarky mentioned him. He used to go around killing everyone with a bucky before it was nerfed. And yes he has insane aim as well. He used to combo his judge with a sheriff for long range

I had raze like this a year ago in mid elo lobby. He was constantly flying in with a judge in close spaces and just destroying people 1v1 :)
Eggwick you should do grumpyonval next, he's an insane neon player. He doesn't have a certain gun he uses but his movement is *chef's kiss*
You should do a sage guess who where a team of sages hide from one seeker after ulting each other on infinite abilities a bunch. The sages can win by either running time out or knifing the seeker.

You mentioned surfing and air strafing near the end of the video, the term refers to the source engine I believe since it was a thing that existed in games like quake, portal, and half life. It’s probably most well known in csgo but other games that use the source engine or something similar generally have some sort of resemblance. For instance valorant I believe is from a modified source engine which is why the movement feels similar but you can’t air strafe forever like in csgo. I might have gotten things wrong here but I’m pretty sure it first referred to the source engine and quake

All this judge clips really makes me wonder how their judge is so accurate from a few meters away and moving and the same time, while mine from 2 meters did 2 body 1 leg even when I'm 100% sure i place my crosshair directly
I mean the only thing you could do judge only on attack is either have smokes set up just for u or have good movement and surprise them get 1 and hope u survive.
I try doing this in lower elo sometimes like gold plat (When split was still a thing) ;( I would say its easier because they cant hit u at all and u basically only die long range or gang up on u

This isn't hard for someone who can play the normal game at a Radiant level. This would be impressive if you told me someone placing silver for the past 2 years decided to go judge only and within an act or two hit Radiant. But someone who already has the fundamentals and mechanics of the game down doing this, isn't too shocking/impressive, it's expected.

This whole video has motivated me to use judge
I feel like this only works because in lower elo you don't get traded and in higher elo people buy headshot heavy weapons so if you buy a Ghost instead of a Frenzy or a Vandal instead of a Phantom you can't spam him out easily, cause if you look most of the time that people that destroy him are the ones that use high fire rate weapons like Phantom or high body shot damage weapons like Judge and Guardian.
P.S also with this playstyle you have to expect him pushing every smoke and above most grounded abilities, so another reason to buy the Phantom

This raze player reminds me of Optic vs EG, how optic they aggressively take a main control. Look up optic vs eg analysis from a TH-cam name sovereign guides, there you will see what I’m talking about
You should check the player named Flight playing raze
Then you get kids in gold games doing this, but it just turns into them peeking vandal angles until they give up and troll.
I'm ascendant 3 and I main omen but I use the bucky because the HS dmg is way higher than judge when it very close to the enemy

Im no pro especially no radiant like him but doing the same entry again and again is pretty bad. He can entry to mid, directly into gardens, on top of generator etc which can be tricky for enemies. Flights and one more cap wearing dude i forgot his name does the best raze plays. Also air strafing is quite easy as i can easily do it as a silver player. Best way to air strafe is to change the satchel key to somewhere on your mouse itself. I had to sacrifice my right click for satchel and now ads is left ctrl key but its pretty manageable unless you want to use gaurdian or bulldog. So a mouse with extra keys on it is best for air strafe

Yeah there is no element of suprised in higher elo I’ll sometimes get the same immortals in my game pretty often and they know I have lineups but I have so many lineup spots that there’s little counter play

If you play enough raze and know movement well you can air strafe pretty easily, I’m a silver player and I can do it when I play her

8:56. playing yoru or chamber would be good counter to this. you try to hit couple bullets if you kill you are good If you don't you just tp out and play retake. jett reyna would be useless against it unless you get kill

I've faced this guy or someone similar. And the guy just rekt everyone in the lobby in Icebox. But it was unrated i m diamond and my friends were iron/bronze. So probably someone else or this guy was just practicing coz it was about 5-6 months ago
