Felix is the nicest guy you could meet. Used to be a bouncer back in 2002. I used to work at a local pub. he used to come in before his shift and just get a pint of water. Knowing I was only 16 I couldn't get into the club he used to look after. Every Friday and Saturday night we would go out after our shift and we would always try and leave the club he worked at until last. The girls I used to work with all got in but me he used to tell me to get in a taxi and go home. You couldn't argue with him. I never ever saw anyone try it with him. A gentle giant and a gentleman

i think the major difference physicall aside from the already pointed out mental stuff is that he does NOT PULL the pillars.
every other contestant seemed to try to PULL the pillars while the last guy merely used enough power to HOLD them in place. you can see it in the shoulder placements. everyone has them rised to some degree, showing them to be trying to pull. last man had his shoulders lowered more than the others. he allowed the weight of the pillars to have its effect to a point and then only had to hold. if you pull you inevitably allow the pillar to swing back down again, causing more strain on you. more so you pull the pillar unevenly so they swing back down different tearing on you. He allowed both to go as far as his arms allowed him to and then just stood there.
