Research shows that psilocybin mushrooms have promising results for mental health support, particularly in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
Psilocybin is an ancient and powerful medicine. It is amusing that “modern” medicine is only now trying to understand what Indigenous people have know for a millennia.
Anybody who has undergone intend psilocybin therapy will understand that trying to get life changing therapeutic benefits of psychedelics without the trip is laughable.that’s what rattles you out of depression.
People are missing that this stack was invented by Paul Stamets and he was the one who filed the patent. This is the smart move. He’s patenting it precisely because he doesn’t want it to be scooped up by big pharmaceutical companies. He wants it to be an over the counter vitamin supplement in every store
@@NetsarimTheWatchman dont you get it he patents it so others dont patent it. you could aswell run around a red state with your spliff saying "nature cant be governed" see if the cops let you keep your weed jsut because you have a hippie catchphrase
There is no need for commercialization of mushrooms only decriminalization and is abhorrent to allow pharmaceutical companies to monopolize it. I do not support the industrialization of mushrooms when they are more than accessible to the individual easily and safely. Now having psychotherapist and people trained in the therapeutic aspect is necessary so you don't have ignorant people out here making issues worse, but I will not support pharmaceutical companies or mushroom dispensaries.
@Will Smith, amen and thank you. I don’t understand why people think it’s so cool and progressive to hand these cottage industries, such as cannabis or mushroom farming, to wealthy profiteers. Legalization is nothing more than an upward transfer of wealth.
I agree with most of this, except that I think commercialization and pharmaceutical production will not necessarily be bad. I think they can coexist with personal use of mushrooms, and will fill a different need. Also, I think that decriminalization does not go far enough. I think legalization is necessary because decriminalization typically only covers small amounts of a substance for personal use, but still criminalizes sale and distribution. Legalization is necessary in order for business like the dispensary in Vancouver that Tony talked about in this video to be able to operate safely. Not all jurisdictions are as lax as Vancouver.
I agree. As soon as the pharmaceutical companies are able to patent this and legally sell it to use for prescriptions, you can say goodbye to the idea of decriminalization. Personally, I would rather things stay the way they are than see this precious medicine exploited by our government.
@BrianOSheaPlus good points, legalization is great for the individual but I'm not sure im on board with dispensaries small or large scale. Thank you for sharing your views on the topic.
Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I suffered severe trauma several years ago after divorce with my wife. Got diagnosed with bipolar. Spent my whole life fighting bipolar. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my son recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
YES very sure of Dr.benfungi. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
Ive done shrooms last month in my house. It taught me how severely traumatized I was from alcohol. I healed from many mental traumas from my past and was able to forgive, let go. Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind
Yes he's Dr.benfungi. Shrooms to me is a natrual healer. I know a guy who has used mushrooms in the same way and they have really helped him. mah dudes have safe trips all.
From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later
I experienced an ego death after taking 5g of penis envy. Best experience of my life. Depression is non existent. Childhood trauma no longer plague me. This is not a drug, it's a medicine. These mushrooms did what years of therapy could never do.
I can't speak for everyone magic shrooms rejuvenated me, No doubt about that. It lifted an existential angst that I have been carrying for years. It never came back.

Stamets has filed lots of patents. The question is does he try and enforce them. As far as I know he doesn’t. The patent then serves to prevent other companies from patenting and enforcing that patent. I think he is wrong on some things but right to patent his ideas so they can’t be stolen by corporate America.
@@karlsapp7134 I get this. It's just now he leading the pack on filing these patents and if he successful others can file with the intent to enforce. I have been microdosing psilocybin on and off for a couple years now to effectively get rid of depression. Since the last 6 months i've also started adding in lion's mane and it really feels like a good synergy. The lion's mane sorta increases my brain's RAM, while the psilocybin takes care of the brain's processor and videocard.
I don't know about lion's mane but psilocybin I would not describe like that. The analogy just isn't right. You be better off saying psilocybin does many many things and one thing is empting the recycle bin.
I can understand patenting a hybrid, but patenting a stack is like patenting a chocolate chip cookie. Garbage practice that inflicts undue hardship on practitioners and recipients.
Wrote a bachelors thesis on lions mane, and I can tell you that they definitely have a positive, but reversible, effect on people with dementia. They don't have that high of an effect on anxiety or depression, but they do increase curiosity and decrease anxiety in rats with dementia. It increases short term memory, but this is also reversible with a 1 month daily dosage schedule. It's possible that it will retain some positive effects upon longer use but I haven't found any studies on this. The erinacines and hericenones show pretty promising results on in vitro studies in nerve cell growth, and can be used to treat scertain types of nerve damage and increase nerve damage healing rate.
Any idea to why I keep getting an upset stomach everytime I have tried Lions Mane? I have tried it from different sellers too, powder form. I can't take any alcohol so I never tried the Alcohol LM tincures.

Can you tell us how someone can patent something that is composed of three natural ingredients? (Especially when one of those ingredients is considered illegal under US Federal Law?)
ChatGPT answered: In general, it is possible to obtain a patent for an invention that includes natural ingredients, as long as the invention meets the criteria for patentability. In the United States, the criteria for patentability are: Novelty: The invention must be new and not previously disclosed to the public. Non-obviousness: The invention must not be obvious to a person having ordinary skill in the relevant field of technology. Utility: The invention must have a useful application. Natural products or ingredients may be more difficult to patent because they are often considered to be part of the prior art or background knowledge in a particular field. In such cases, it may be necessary to demonstrate that the natural ingredients used in the invention are being used in a novel or non-obvious way that provides a useful result. This can be achieved by providing experimental data or other evidence of unexpected or advantageous properties of the combination of natural ingredients in the invention. If an inventor were to apply for a patent for an invention that includes an illegal substance, they would be risking prosecution and other legal consequences for their involvement in an illegal activity. [It goes on to basically say that if the government has made psilocybin legal to study for medicinal purposes, then it stands to reason that the government would also allow medicinal patents.]
@@Pothos969 ChatGPT: "No, you cannot patent bread. Patents are granted for inventions that are novel, non-obvious, and useful. You may be able to patent a specific process for making bread, or protect a recipe through other forms of intellectual property such as trade secret so that it is not disclosed to the public."
I just got back from the Mycomeditations retreat on February 28th. The best! They were so good to us and really put people first. I’m in awe of both their dedication and the effects of the trips. I’ve become a much calmer, more relaxed version of myself!
I am using lion mane with my brother right now. My brother has dyslexia and adhd couldnt study for 10 minutes, couldnt understand the subjects. I made him start bacopa monieri ,ashwaganda and lions mane he is studying 4 hours right now. I am gonna add psilocybin next week and it probably gonna be life changer for him and me since I have bipolar disorder. My olanzapine caused drug induced Parkinson and seconder hyperthyroidism due to lack of dopamine, so I decided to research proper mechanisms of depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder along with drug's mechanisms. My doctor diploma finally proved to be a useful thing.
@@astridwerewolf1648 None of those helps with dopamine levels, receptors ,hypothroidism , concentration or motivation. They are just for detoxification and Glicine has memory benefits, although bacopa monieri is better at memory retention, and it helps neurons to grow, which helps with adhd. Ashwganda is good at dealing with autoimmun diseases like hashimato which both my brother and I have, also gives relaxation effect so it helps with anxiety which is another symptom of Adhd. If you want to protect your brain from alzheimer your supplementations is superb but it is not our priority right now
@@docacuwatson I mean it is scientific as an alternative medicine can get except the psilocybin part since it is used as a phase 3 for depression right now. For Adhd it is just a suggestion but there are studies about it. For bacopa monnieri it is good at increasing memory (Documented) also increase motivation in some people(Observation). Make some people sleepy so take it with a grain of salt It is well documented that lion mane helps neuron growth so it could help Adhd but it is not documented for Adhd. Ashwaganda is for our Throid problems since we both have hashimato. It is not really that effective for throids but it gives relaxation so we use for anxiety(Documented) For my parkinson and akathism I have used tyrosine(Dopamine precursor) and 5 htp(Serotonin precursor) there are mixed results in these two due to their dosage differences I think since tyrozine dont do anything below 500 mg. This was a completely leap of faith for me since I didnt have any choice I was severely depressed my dopamine synthesis was on the floor so couldnt wean off my drugs(There isnt much medicinal things you can do since dopamine agonists makes things worse on the long run and the main treatment is waiting to pass away). At first, I took tyrosine 2 times a day then I lowered to once a day and once two days now I do not need it. My Parkinson and akathisia gone away on the first week then came back slightly when I lowered the dosage in 1 month I got rid of my dopamine deficiency completely and weaned off my antidepressants started using psilocybin instead. I didnt go into depression for 4 months, but there is a catch it is really difficult to adjust tyrosine dosages so I got into two hypomanic episodes due to that but since I also used 5 htp I didnt get into depression. Last two parts are completely observational and theoretical. I found this treatment by studying solely mechanisms of actions and taking a leap of faith. It may not work on other people. So it in not that scientific at all

This is a great video. I ate some psilocybin mushrooms a couple times in my early 20s. I remember it being a very pleasant experience. Now I'm 42. I haven't eaten psilocybin mushrooms since, but I've recently become interested in the therapeutic benefits of these mushrooms.
Nice job. FYI you misidentified Panaeolus cyanescens in this video at 4:55 (mistakenly calling it Psilocybe cyanescens which are a wood lover species with brown caps). Also the nickname "Blue Meanies" was first associated with "Panaeolus cyanescens" and is not the nickname of Psilocybe cyanescens. There is also a cubensis strain called "blue meanie" (whoever is responsible for that should be flogged, haha).
I'd love to hear of a study combining hyperbaric oxygen therapy and microdosing psilocybin. I have done hyperbaric oxygen therapy for hearing loss because it can regrow nerves. I wonder how much this stack with Hyperbarics could help people and in what way.
Been using that combination with Lion's Mane and Niacin for a while. NOT happy that someone is trying to make a patent on something that we already have available to us. I've seen how this can go bad!
Dunno about that patent on mushroom cocktail for neurogenesis. Can I also patent a coffee blend that brings a buzz? You can't just patent nature, can you ?🤔
Yes, Stamet's is simply mixing what many folks, including myself, already have. I respect Stamet's but I occasionally hear him say things that just sound like blatant marketing (and that's a euphemism) on his part. He's gotta be a very rich man already. Nothing wrong with that in itself but it comes across as undignified and unbecoming of a man of science.
Monsanto has been doing it for years. In fact I believe it was Monsanto that created a loophole about patenting nature. Not that I agree with it at all.
Stamets literally critized a guy in one of his books for patenting a technique for growing morels, now he's patenting a combination of naturally occurring compounds. SMH
If you have never done shrooms before I suggest you start with a low dose, consider lemon tekking for alleviation of short term and relatively minor stomach discomfort. We do not digest the cell walls of magic mushrooms but the discomfort will not last long and in low doses does not occur at all for with myself. If you do decide to trip, be in a safe place with someone you trust. If you must be alone, don't leave the house until the most intense part is over. Occasionally, a sensation of dysphoria may occur but will usually pass. I just remind myself (only once this occurred) that psilocybin is not toxic, I can't over dose from them and that the intense part of the trip will be over within two hours after "peaking". Also and btw, shrooms are in no way addictive. If you're really freaking out just stay in bed where you can't be harmed and let it happen. This all may sound very scary but knowledge is best. My most frightening trip left me feeling wonderful after I peaked. I did not regret taking them and noticed the anti-depressive effects for weeks afterwards. That was in the late 70s when I was a teenager. Many decades later I found a safe source for mushrooms and decided to both trip and micro-dose (when my depression got severe) again. With a little research I experienced incredible trips (2-3 times a year at most for me, each occasion being unique) and my depression was quashed from occasional micro-dosing. There are many excellent websites available for more thorough research. I take powdered Lion's Mane daily but I recently heard that the fruiting body of the mushroom is required for an effective result. The alcohol extracted pill form seems to be always sold out. May I ask which form of LM you have had such positive results with? Whatever the case, have a decent spring!
@@BAsed_AFro I can't find the video that explains it but It was done by Paul Stamets and he said put ice cubes on the fresh mushrooms, keep in fridge for at least 24 hours. The water will turn blue. It's easier on the gut than lemon tek or any other way that I've found. You can keep in fridge for a week or so. If I find the video I'll let you know.
Thanks for the video Tony! Great as always. Just wanted to make a quick correction on one thing you said in the video which commonly gets said but isn't true. You said that Psilocybe Cyanescens are known as Blue Meanies, but that's not actually the case. These often get mistaken for Blue Meanies because they have "Cyanescens" in the name. But the real Blue Meanies do not come from the Psilocybe genus. Blue Meanies are Panaeolus Cyanescens, which is a whole separate genus than Psilocybe altogether. The mushrooms look quite a bit different than Psilocybes and most cubensis in particular. Blue Meanies (Panaeolus Cyanescens) are very small compared to Cubensis. They have very thin stipes, don't grow that tall, and are almost pure white, with extremely intense blue bruising. I know this isn't the biggest deal or anything, but I often hear this myth being propagated and even some spore vendors will call their Psilocybe Cyanescens by the name of Blue Meanies. But it's not too hard to look into the backstory of Blue Meanies and what they actually are. I think a bit of the confusion comes also from the fact that Panaeolus Cyanescens had it's named changed at some point from Copelandia to Panaeolus. But I assure you that the true Blue Meanies are not a Psilocybe mushroom, but rather a mushroom belonging to the Panaeolus genus!

Seeing Paul as the Founder and CEO of the patenting company takes a little of my worry away. I think Paul just wants to ward off commercial competition for the stack. I highly doubt he'd choose to go after the lone microdoser for trying to establish personal peace or pursue spiritual betterment.

I’m Canadian and the way that Dana sums up what Canadians want seems very much in line with what I’m seeing in my world. Of course I’m biased in that direction but this really does feel like the 2012 days of illegal weed shops all over again. Might take longer to adopt because of the increased complexity of psychedelics at large vs cannabis, but seems inevitable. I love the way Dana just leads by example and chooses his words very wisely. This patent protects only the commercialization of a very specific combination, which is the Novel Idea. Nothing in there prevents an individual from eating mushrooms and taking niacin at home.
Niacin-also called B3. If you take enough it causes your skin to get red and feel itchy. Once you learn to deal with the flush it can feel amazing after.
It is considered bad form to name a species you discovered after yourself. Just thought I would offer this explanation for why Paul Stamets didn't name any of his discoveries after himself.
How can they patent combining these three natural things. Totally against a corporation having patented a stack that I'm already doing. How does it pass the tests for a patent!?
We need peer reviewed scientific studies to validate or dismiss the many claims of health and therapeutic benefits, and also the claims of societal and personal harms, to move this toward societal acceptance.

Just a note: the study does NOT take into account the placebo effects. It only controls against a tiny group of self-selected non-microdosers (~ n < 100). But as we know, placebo effects are very significant in these types of studies - so I think the only thing we can conclude from this study is that it is far from conclusive.

People call cocaine a "hard drug" yet you can buy Coca tea leaves in almost every grocery store in South America. It's basically like the green tea of South America. They give it to kids. So yea, we all need more public education about dosages and the consequences of higher doses for each drug. I used to think heroine was a "hard drug"...And it is...But poppy tea can be consumed several times before cravings begin and honestly the cravings arent even as strong as sugar cravings. In the Middle East poppy tea is served ceremoniously at funerals for obvious reasons. There is a time and a place for all drugs.

1mg of psilocybin/psilocin is an interesting pick for the stamets stack. Just looking at the research article from pubmed you highlighted, they used .1-.3g or 100-300mg… Using only 1mg of psilocybin starts to seem like a scam unfortunately, and I love Paul stamets haha

hes been saying that for years: it appears like that with all mushrooms - the effect is even greater if you take really small doses, but over a longer period of time .. + pauses sometimes, wich increase that even further
@@toneenorman2135 they are still mycelium based, but I don’t knock his company for this as there’s different benefits to mycelium vs fruiting body and it’s different per mushroom. I agree that certainly from a cost standpoint, it’s cheaper to sell mycelium based products tho.
@@L4Nigav while that may be true from anecdotal or past experience… it does not change the fact that the product they submitted for patent and the product used in research studies used to verify their claims was completely different. The main selling/marketing point of the product is obviously the psilocybin, however you had to use 100x the amount of psilocybin in research trials to see a significant difference between control groups. And that was only in 1 categorical endpoint. A bit disappointing, but the product isn’t even released yet so I’m hopeful! Psilocybin has the chance to radically change medicine and mental health for the better and I don’t want to see it taken advantage of, or the opportunity squandered and set back another 30-40 years
The whole "hard drugs" thing is pretty strange wording. pot, Coke and mushrooms are natural from plants. even morphine is natural from the poppy plant. Then you have the hard chemical stuff like meth and other similar drugs which could be actually considered "hard". These natural drugs, like alcohol have been with humanity for thousands of years. But for some weird reason modern society feels like banning them. Possibly pharma driven bans.

My recovery journey was supported by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms.

Yes, that’s his name.

Precisely. It also sets a precedent for clinical trials and medical research l, currently banned by being a Scheduled Drug
It is already an over the counter vitamin in the original form.
I think niacin is part of his stack too.

@ender5023 with legalization comes regulation and that doesn't usually work out well for the common man.

I even felt more refreshed the
morning after. So no hangovers. No
depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now

The feeling I felt from taking shrooms as a whole was spectacular, I felt completely supported.

In the United States, the criteria for patentability are:
Novelty: The invention must be new and not previously disclosed to the public.
Because they don’t occur naturally together in nature.
So, I can patent "Bread"?
@@Pothos969 ChatGPT: "No, you cannot patent bread. Patents are granted for inventions that are novel, non-obvious, and useful. You may be able to patent a specific process for making bread, or protect a recipe through other forms of intellectual property such as trade secret so that it is not disclosed to the public."
I just got back from the Mycomeditations retreat on February 28th. The best! They were so good to us and really put people first. I’m in awe of both their dedication and the effects of the trips. I’ve become a much calmer, more relaxed version of myself!

Get him to take NAC supplements and Glycine supplements.
If you want to protect your brain from alzheimer your supplementations is superb but it is not our priority right now
Hopefully you are writing a scientific paper because your information is important to share for others who have these conditions.
Make some people sleepy so take it with a grain of salt
It is well documented that lion mane helps neuron growth so it could help Adhd but it is not documented for Adhd.
Ashwaganda is for our Throid problems since we both have hashimato. It is not really that effective for throids but it gives relaxation so we use for anxiety(Documented)
For my parkinson and akathism I have used tyrosine(Dopamine precursor) and 5 htp(Serotonin precursor) there are mixed results in these two due to their dosage differences I think since tyrozine dont do anything below 500 mg.

Not in EU in the USA I think you can.
Exactly, How can a corporation patent a stack I'm already doing. How can they pass the tests to get something so natural patented!?
Monsanto has been doing it for years. In fact I believe it was Monsanto that created a loophole about patenting nature. Not that I agree with it at all.
Stamets literally critized a guy in one of his books for patenting a technique for growing morels, now he's patenting a combination of naturally occurring compounds. SMH
Big corporate greed is going to ruin shrooms
omg why didnt i think this before! of course. future is so bright guys ALL RISE
I have been on just Lion's mane for 1+ month and the results are amazing. I have shrooms too but don't feel like consuming them
What are your benefits that you have see? I have had a clearer mind. Less brain fog.

Thank you for clarification . Positive knowledge ,

We should not permit patenting mushrooms. It’s outrageous!
Life changing. Permanent. Every person should once.
At 21:10 -- It would also be interesting to see how the over 55 age group would have performed with just lion's mane, or lion's mane + B3 (i.e. the Stammets stack without psilocybin). If they performed as well as the PS+LM+B3 group, this kind of treatment would be available to more people given the legal status of psilocybin in many countries.
I can tell u for sure Lions mane has improved my memory considerably, processing too. Been Taking it daily for 2+ years. No doybtvabout it, wife has commented Many times.
@@barneyrubble4827 that's great to hear. I give my mother lion's mane also. She is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's, so it might be too late for her, but even if it only helps a little, it's worth it.
We share our enthusiasm for Psilocybin and all fungi with anyone who will listen. Thank you for sharing!
Love your show! I’m learning so much. Thanks for sharing this information. ❤
Thankful for places other than North America for things like this.
How the hell can a natural ingredient be patented. So I can go and patent an chicken now eyh
I love wild foods and shrooms, but hate all the single use plastic waste being caused by the commercialisation of this organism. 🌎✊🏽
Out of everyone who could hold this patent, I'm glad its Paul Stamets
👆👆Psychedelics saved my life ,help me overcome addition and freed anxiety and depression, y'all can check out the handle about, I order from him, he's so reliable
Agreed, dude is straight up
This patent protects only the commercialization of a very specific combination, which is the Novel Idea. Nothing in there prevents an individual from eating mushrooms and taking niacin at home.
As a bodybuilder I have started to take turkey tail supplements with RSO.
I'm unfamiliar with Turkey Tail and RSO, what do those do? I've only tried Lion's Mane.
@@untossablesalad4423 Rick Simpson oil helps with my migraines and insomnia.
@Localfocal KC rso is the shit!ni been telling people.about this forever..turkey tail,lions mane,psilocybin, reishi..all good moves..cordyceps also
Niacin-also called B3. If you take enough it causes your skin to get red and feel itchy. Once you learn to deal with the flush it can feel amazing after.
He'll yea, this "niacin burn" I used to take it in a sauna
It is considered bad form to name a species you discovered after yourself. Just thought I would offer this explanation for why Paul Stamets didn't name any of his discoveries after himself.
I am a patent attorney and the issued patent will have little effect on the industry, nor will it be worth much other than marketing.
Thanks for this insight
How can they patent combining these three natural things. Totally against a corporation having patented a stack that I'm already doing. How does it pass the tests for a patent!?
People shouldn't be able to patent nature. Just cause they contained it.
We need peer reviewed scientific studies to validate or dismiss the many claims of health and therapeutic benefits, and also the claims of societal and personal harms, to move this toward societal acceptance.
I have been on Sprout's brand Lions Maine Tincture drops since December and my memory is remarkable. I have never like mushrooms. 🍄 I don't like the taste or the way they look...that's why the chose the drops.
You have to harvest them before the sunshine hits them in the morning !
Interesting, thanks!
I'd like to see you talk about lionsmane causing effectively serotonin syndrome and post finasteride/ssri syndrome
Psychedelics are just an amazing
discovery. It's quite fascinating how
effective they are for depression and
stress disorders. Saved my life
I bought some shrooms from dr.marcerice02
Does dr.marcerice02 ships
Unregulated is highest form of something being legal. If laws are written to "legalize" something it is usually to place restrictions and exceptions, like medical cannabis in the states.
A lot of pharmaceutical medication is simply based on plants unfortunately.
I need to find out if lion's mane will grow on mahogany. Will it work?
@@joelwhite3591 I actually want to make this a side hustle.
I have access to tons of wood for free and I live on a coast full of tourists, gourmet restaurants and what not.
My father knows a couple of chefs who would freak out if I handed them the mushroom. They'll love it
Dont hurt anyone else, hopefully not do any harm to yourself and everything in moderation. This world is full of medicine if we look.
Just a note: the study does NOT take into account the placebo effects. It only controls against a tiny group of self-selected non-microdosers (~ n < 100).
But as we know, placebo effects are very significant in these types of studies - so I think the only thing we can conclude from this study is that it is far from conclusive.
1 mg would be .01 gm (not .1 gm), which would appear to be a tiny amount and much less than any other microdosing regimen that I have seen mentioned. I don't see how such a small amount of Psilocybin would be clinically effective in any way.
1mg of *Psiloycbin* which would be roughly equivalent to .1 g of dried mushrooms (obviously depending on the species etc.)
Thanks for the review, Paul Stamets is on SXSW 2023 -- dig into it a bit further. Research promising for microdose usage for PTSD and EOL as well as motor function.
I guess you meant to say panaeolus cyanescens in the first clip ( the true blue meanies)-not psylocybe ( a wood lover).
Definitely, if I said "psilocybe cyanescens" that was an error
I was thinking the same thing. Glad someone else caught it as well. Psilocybe Cyanescens are also known as wavy caps and are wood lovers. They are known to contain higher amounts of psilocybin.
there are other things going on with vaccinations harms to be addressed. We are all aware of the need to counter mind control operations. Bringing it all back home with free energy. I'm stoked about it all. Look forward to mind blowing totally accurate accounts of the state of our realm. Plus excellent maintenance of you toob status. This is just a great channel.
Ever notice how sharp the minds of mushroom folks are?
I just started microdosing cubensis last week twice and now feel more anxious and low mood. hmmmmmm
Not bragging ...but at age 70 I am the third best score on Deadpool pinball in a very busy arcade. I also tried lions mane
1,200 mg daily for 60 days with no increase in acuity, memory etc...
Maybe Im already "there"? I vape high cbd hemp so maybe thats why? I took about .10gm then bumped it up with no effect.
At 28:06 -- I think that is correct. That is how I have heard mycologists and chemists pronounce psilocybe and psilocybin.
1mg of psilocybin/psilocin is an interesting pick for the stamets stack.
Just looking at the research article from pubmed you highlighted, they used .1-.3g or 100-300mg…
Using only 1mg of psilocybin starts to seem like a scam unfortunately, and I love Paul stamets haha
I could totally see companies selling what amounts to a couple dollars worth of shrooms in tablet form and charging people $60 for them
I like Paul, too, but, the supplements he sells are NOT made with the whole mushroom. Instead, mycelium grown on rice…which is NOT nearly as good as medicine made from the WHOLE fruit body. It’s been a couple years since I checked his products,so,maybe he’s changed 🤷♀️I hope so….
hes been saying that for years: it appears like that with all mushrooms - the effect is even greater if you take really small doses, but over a longer period of time ..
Psilocybin has the chance to radically change medicine and mental health for the better and I don’t want to see it taken advantage of, or the opportunity squandered and set back another 30-40 years
I LOVE the niacin flush
The whole "hard drugs" thing is pretty strange wording. pot, Coke and mushrooms are natural from plants. even morphine is natural from the poppy plant. Then you have the hard chemical stuff like meth and other similar drugs which could be actually considered "hard". These natural drugs, like alcohol have been with humanity for thousands of years. But for some weird reason modern society feels like banning them. Possibly pharma driven bans.
Thank God these comments are full of exactly the type of people I thought.
I think we're one of the last communities on earth who will prioritize what's right, namely through nature. Screw the money, these gifts grow with such ferocity within the earth for a reason
Further, handing these things out like candy like current doctors prescribe antidepressants, will inevitably lead to COUNTLESS people who underestimate the state of psychosis and will overdo a dose despite the warning, leading to WORSE mental trauma and/or self-offing. Do it right or get the heck out of the game!!!
This is my first mushroom grow but if everything goes well, I will have ~3kg Lion's Mane to "microdose".
Ah, Mr. Eiht. Isn't this uncannily similar to a conversation we had awhile back? Still not a sclerotia.
Heck you don't have to micro dose lions mane, the more the merrier in my experience. Natural Adderall for us with ADHD
@@DivineLightPaladin you need clearly more. You need to be way more smart.
Great video. I can't wait to hear you talk more aboot your trip to Jamaica.
We should officially dub this mushroom 'The Lionocybin'.
I am beyond grateful for Dana and the mushroom dispensary, as they truly have quality products and they offer so much information about what doses to take therapeutically and warnings, to make sure their customers stay safe.
I’m really new to all of this, but their store is the only place I found with that made me feel comfortable enough to order and start my journey.
Visited that place last year, loved it. Finally got to try DMT. Always wanted to, but wasn’t socially well connected enough to get it from someone I trusted. Thank you Dana
@Dirty Nuggets i relate heavily, ive never been connected enough to find a source for these kinds of things

Has anyone seen those "polka dot" chocolate bars that contain psilocybin? The person that showed it to me claimed it was from Oakland, but it was DEFINITELY manufactured in a regular, legal looking way. Perfect packaging with brand name, instructions and everything.
Liams_spores_
A lot of these small operations in Oregon too since everything has been decriminalized.
i am so ready for this.
Is there any danger that more "professional" criminal elements might try to co-opt mushrooms in Jamaica since it is getting so popular and most likely lucrative?
Not likely since crime is usually supply and demand based, if its legal there wont be enough profit for a pro crim to even bother looking at it.
You need to eat some of these. Then you'll laugh at your own comment.
I like how the news organization put up a photo of a pair of black hands holding a plastic bag with white powder, like that isn't racist at all.
