The fact that you named the Tepig King made me so happy, because that's exactly the name i gave to my Tepig in White 2, who was the first pokemon i ever fully evolved. Also ironically, my favourite shiny from this gen is also the first one i ever encountered, Shiny Boldore! It's so cool seeing that shiny boldore,, it brought me back to when i first encountered it.

What's with all the less than 20hourd of hunting, as a full odds hunter myself, that rarely happens. Let's say you do 300 encounters an hour, it's only 6k encounters. No hate but I'm doing SbQ myself, and it takes months, if not years sometimes. But hey you do you.
Depends on how you go about it. I play on a ROM so I obviously have speedup which helps me get over 700 encounters an hour. I also play around 12-16 hours a day so it adds up😁
Dunno, nobody can check it. They probably boosted the rates, since it literally makes no difference other than hours and hours of grind which isn't in the video anyway

A strategy I really like to use with Magneton is to give it an Eviolite and not evolve it. Couple that with Sturdu, a lot of resistances, and already being quite bulky before the Eviolite is factored in and it is not going ANYWHERE any time soon
To be fair, 17 hours for a gen 5 shiny starter is actually pretty damn fast. You can basically do 2 resets per minute, 120 an hour. 17 hours would be ~2000 resets. So I really wouldn't call it 'finally' 😅

Doing the average 8192 resets in these games takes way, way longer than 17 hours. I know it kinda sounds weird but he was indeed very lucky to get one in 17 hours :)

Man, White 2 was the game where I found my first shiny, memoriiies. Got a shiny Sandslash and thought the sparkles were cool. I didn't even know what a shiny was at that point. 😂
I loved this, recenty re-played white 2, and it’s definitely one of the harder Pokémon games out there Would’ve been amazing if your Krokorok had Moxie. I absolutely swept endgame with moxie. Also, if you didn’t evolve magnezone you could’ve got Tri-Attack early. Personally, I would’ve gone for Oshawot as it can learn megahorn and gone for the shiny Arcanine, as at level 29 pre evolution, it can learn flamethrower, thunder fang, and some other useful moves.
I'm doing Pokemon Moon and arrived at Poni Island with Decidueye, Meganium, Roserade, Tsareena, Victrebel, and Leafeon. If they all survive they'll be my final team to beat the rest of the game.

My shiny heatran took me 27082 Sr's.. triple the odds. The only thing I said was finally xD
