Or a more simple option is that three players were playing together. Two were on a roof in their inventory, and so when I ran up they they thought I was the third and didn’t even look. Of course this option is much less likely than I rig all my encounters across 40 or so hours of streaming a week while an audience listens to me doing so…

I am 39 I played day z. It is fun but need time that I don't care to spend on it. But this youtubers is by far the best gaming youtubers for older like me. Easy relaxed, good at the game tho. Best.
One up on that👍🏼 soon to be 41 and got five kids. I play dayz as often as I can. Got me a solid 900 hours now and boy do I need more to be able to call myself good😅🙈

Same here. I'm 37 and don't play myself because of the time commitment. I just play vicariously through Paul as I watch him do better than I ever could.
I had a similar death by cheater the other day, character was alive for about a week on official servers then some ass teleports to me and kills me.. Then teleports to me again as a freshie and brags about it :/ Official servers are a risky business it seems. Love your videos TRMZ always keeping me entertained

Finally bought DayZ a few weeks ago after watching your vids Paul/Dave. I'll remember if I bump into you not to say Runningmanz so I don;t get shot in the face ;). Good to see an older gamer doing his thing on here. Given me a lot of tips for survival but still getting to grips with actually playing which is of course a lot different to just watching someone else. Only managing to get a few hours here and there but gradually building up more experience. Keep on running bud!
Come back to the comments when you're a few hundred hours in...and tell us how it crushed your soul so many times while sending you on awesome highs other times. Lol

I had a similar experience where I ran into two players at the top of the hospital in Berezino. They were try to make a fire and even though I ran up to them, they were completely unaware of me. I used the weapon I had just found in the gatehouse nearby.

I think with the first set of guys, they thought he was the third guy, in their group, the guy that was at the bottom of the stairs that put out the gas grenade. They just did not communicate well. I think they thought he was coming up. And Rmz just capitalized on the confusion.

If you look at the bottom of the wall at the very end of the clip, you can see the guys shadow on the very bottom line of the wall when you're in your inventory, I don't think he was hacking, but he was crouched and walking around to the door.
at 12:25 are you even wearing your headset the rightway ? you could clearly hear he was on the leftside but you kept looking to the building in front of you? Nice vid tho :D

The first 3 guys were a team, but like many teams they don't remember whos wearing what. I bet they heard you and saw you but just thought it was their teammate. That's why the third guy was kind of waiting for you.
Can you report a hacker, if you spot one? How does that work?
I will say as a cautionary thing to everyone: DO NOT show keys you actually use on streams or videos. It's quite easy to take stills of the video and figure out the key bitting and go make copies. Then if they figure out where you live and they have a copy of your house key, they can just walk in anytime. BE CAREFUL. ALWAYS use fake/retired keys when showing stuff like that. Be safe.
