The trick with that rumble was that it mainly featured 18 of those men. He'd need to add 2 more men.
@@foxfireinferno197 he did a gimmicks Rumble, but not the Wrestlemania 17 Gimmicks Battle Royal. There is a difference. Lol. That wasn’t even a Royal Rumble, though, it was a “battle royal” which is very similar but still not an actual Royal Rumble.

Since the 2010 royal rumble arena is in this game, you should recreate that one as well. Watching that one as a kid and seeing Edge come back and win was amazing. That would be a fun one to do in the future!

This was great!
I was there in the third row for the real 2002 Rumble, which was in Atlanta. When the hard cam zooms out a bit, you can often see the back of my frizzy blond hair just right of center at the bottom of the screen. It was my first live PPV, and it’s still the best one I’ve been to. Lots of great moments in the Rumble match. I marked out so hard when my boy Mr Perfect came out, and I was so thrilled to see him make the final 3. He almost made final 3 in this one too :D
The Honky Tonk Man was in that Royal Rumble as well, the Elvis impersonator

The 2002 Royal Rumble was in Atlanta, GA at the Phillips Arena. I'm shocked that they didnt put this event in the GA Dome. After Taker beat up Maven, King had a great line. He said about Maven: He just Orville Redenbachered him!!!! after he'd been thrown into the popcorn machine lol The Hurricane vs Chris Jericho for the undisputed title at WrestleMania X-8!!!!!! I predict the biggest buy rate in the history of the company.
Great Rumble, Ricky. I hope you are able to do an all announcers rumble but I think it would be awesome to recreate the 1995 Royal Rumble as well. The one where Shawn Michaels came in at number 1 and The British Bulldog at number 2 and they made it to the final two.

Awesome throwback rumble! Back in the late 90s & early 2000s I was very religious and also a big wrestling fan. I remember when WWF/E first kicked off the attitude era, I was so upset with the direction they went with the product, I stopped watching for over 10 years! But I got back into it and now, here we are, reveling in all these awesome fantasy rumbles! I missed the original airing of this one, but it was cool seeing some familiar faces in it. Have you recreated the first ever rumble?

One of my favorite rumbles. Probably 2nd behind 92 with star power. Austin, HHH, Taker, Angle, Kane, Big Show, RVD, Booker T, DDP, APA, Hardys. 2002 roster was loaded!

2002 was one of my favorite Royal Rumbles. I was born that year but when I was growing up my brother had a set of DVDs that had every Royal Rumble up until 2007 that we would always watch. Satisfied with winner in real life and satisfied with the winner in this one though it was unexpected!

I mean, most real Royal Rumbles of the past would be a fun experience to re-create. Personally I would opt for 1997 when Austin was declared the winner after being eliminated and coming back in the ring to get rid of Vader, Undertaker and Bret Hart.

One man gang actually won the first royal rumble concept match in 1987 but it was considered "experimental" so unfortunately it's not recognized as such.

Edge and Christian versus the Hardee's in the ladder match was at no mercy 99 before they had their ladder matchups with the Dudley boys at two Wrestlemanias and a SummerSlam which became Tables Ladders and Chairs
E and C were not the same after they broke up. Same with Jeff and Matt. Jeff lost his job in 2003 for being under influence of marijuana and was stoned before Christian in a singles match. So many things happened after the golden age of Tables, ladders and chairs.
2007 Royal Rumble is my most favorite rumble because Taker and Shawn was last two also the ending was a amazing. (got the dvd of that Ppv)

Hacksaw Jim Duggan was wildly popular in 1987 and 1988 and was the logical choice for winner of the 88 Rumble. Did you expect Don Muraco to win? When he turned face, he lost all his magnificence, really unforgiveable WWF did that to him. That was a great Rumble but really a throwaway, half the guys in it - the Bees, Harley Race, JYD, Ron Bass, Danny Davis, for the love of god that useless Sam Houston (!!!) what would they have accomplished? It was a B-Team rumble and I liked it that way. the Ricky Steamboat vs Rick Rude match was awesome on that card, too!

The 2002 is considered one of the greatest rumbles of all time, but in this repeat performance to crown an entry into the upcoming Champions rumble we would not see history repeating itself on this night. But instead, one of the most unlikely competitors would end up scoring possibly the biggest win we can only imagine in our wildest dreams… the Hurricane. Without question, the Hurricane is one of my favorite superstars (Even met him once at a convention once upon a time) and somehow to see him as the winner of this rumble, just when it seemed a more likely entrant would accomplish it, that was one stunning finish in my book. The Hurricane is often an underdog when tackling against the biggest competition of his career, but I can imagine he’ll be a crowd favorite going into the Champions rumble. This one question remains of course: Can he be the ‘one’ superhero to overthrow Thanos’ two season reign as the Champions Rumble… champion?
Who was my MVP in this match? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Out of thirty familiar faces in this rumble, sixteen competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest number of the night ended up being six eliminations; the lowest count based on the list above are one. I’ll give the Golden MVP Award to the runner-up of this match, Scotty 2 Hotty. During the actual rumble, he only lasted two-and-a-half minutes and was eliminated by Diamond Dallas Page. But in this rumble, not only did he clearly last longer than 2 minutes, but he scored the most eliminations overall (Even eliminating the actual winner and runner-up). Had it not been the fact his stamina eventually dropped by the end then he surely could’ve been the winner of the match. But even for a simulation, this is the best I’ve seen Scotty performed.
The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance has to go to Matt Hardy. Now it’s really no surprise a guy like Matt is unlikely to win a rumble, that’s not my key issue. While I would’ve picked Rikishi as ‘technically’ he was the ‘first’ superstar eliminated, for me seeing Matt eliminated in the fashion we’ve seen just makes me shake my head. Add to the fact he was eliminated before his brother, who ended up with more eliminations in this match, definitely felt like a step-down from his time in the actual rumble.
If we ever look to doing another repeat of a past rumble, I’d be admittedly curious to see which rumbles you haven’t done just yet. Heck, you could even do a rumble based on the entrants from the 15 Year Anniversary Battle Royal (Tons of names involved) and in case you’d need a certain number to fill in the possible gaps, I’m sure there are some favorites you wanted to see in that rumble but wasn’t featured. Otherwise, this was a fun match to see overall.

You need to do some history work on Hacksaw. He was WAY over. One of the Top 10 most popular WWF wrestlers ever. Him winning the 1988 Rumble was not a surprise.
