The world is a mirror reflecting back to you what you give out.

You are 100% right, the buildup is part of why Break through it all works so well, and has the same explanation of why Rules of Nature goes so hard. The entire first part is doing a great supportive job at leading to the second phase, and when the singer screams Break through it all/Rules of nature, the listener reached the apex of the songs, and is now spiraling down in a roller coaster of goodness that is the second part of those songs
During my run I started parrying its claws when it went "what goes around". Haven't teared up during a boss fight like that since The FinalHazard a LONG ass time ago.
That's probably because they actually time the transition to the chorus artificially so it lines up with getting the boss to half health (when it starts shooting lazer rings).
For me it played when i was flying around the island and just dodged jy first few missles after the second phase.. god.. the scenery and dodging missles as the music plays got me
Legit, the other songs are hype, you’re a liar if you say they weren’t, but there’s just something about Break Through It All’s build up and climax that just makes you want to yeet yourself beyond the damn sun.
The only one that wasn’t too hype for me was Supreme. While ‘I’m Here’ is a straight banger, the weirdness of the fight distracted me from it. But with that said, S-Tier soundtrack.

Whenever I go for a run, I always sprint to this part. Man, does it give you a surge! It always give me a rush, especially at 0:22 and I feel like I have to go as fast as I possibly can while sticking to the beat. THIS is what super sonic music should do to a person.
Only problem is, like every good song, this good part doesn't hit nearly as hard without the build up and insanely written measures before it. Always gotta listen to a song all the way through

I don't understand how people favour find your flame and undefeatable over this. Its got some of the most hard hitting and absolutely banging moments even though it didn't have much of a guitar solo. Break through it all deserves way more love than it does now and i hope that it gets more attention
I gained a new appreciation for it after THAT trial in the DLC. I still prefer Find your Flame because it felt like a more completed version of Infinite's theme, but this one is pretty much on the same level.
