Yeah, I sure hope so! lol Jokes aside, man this anime does Extra a disservice as a compilation of fights strung together with story and character moments that feel undercooked, especially when Extra already was that! It's a shame too, because apparently ALOT was cut from Nasu's pitch draft (I assume to fit into a 13 episode structure and keep it as a pseudo adaptation of Fate/Extra), and even the Drama CD's feel like the anime was supposed to be more dense. While the animation is (from my memory) relatively decent, but far from Studio Shaft's best, the score was pretty great even if it's orchestral instead of Electronic Jazz like the game. I especially love Rider's theme (Wild Hunt), Assassin's theme (Bajiquan), and Nero's Theme (The Supreme Emperor), also the song for the anime's OP (Bright Burning Shout) is hands down a top 5 Fate anime song. All that being said, *MY* lovely fox wife would NEVER allow a terrible spin-off to happen on her watch! 😏 /s Also I almost got jumpscared by Future NikNak! lol After CCC, I gotta wonder what's next: Foxtail or Extella?
After CCC chances are Extella cause it’s pretty short and I’ve got a fair bit of reading backlog on the channel I need to focus on but somewhere in there I’m gonna reread the Seraph event on stream so that’ll be a wild card.
