I have both and the Ruby is my fave too. It just feels more luxurious and it’s definitely more comfortable as a crossbody.
This is a tough one! They're both so different.... BUT I would have to go with the Coach Ruby
Very thorough and informative, overall great video! Funny though that you need a flashlight in order to use your bag. That would be a dealbreaker for me for sure

Dooney really is such a timeless classic. Wish they would branch out a little more when it comes to hardwares and shape. But I’m so pleased with the Florentine leather!

Great video and loved hearing all your pros and cons for both! I don't have either bag, but I did actually order that exact Ruby yesterday and should have it soon! I've been debating getting it for a few weeks and finally decided to bite the bullet.
I do love that Florentine leather, it is amazing quality. But I've never been in love with this satchel style - the opening is WAY too fussy for me personally, and I'm not a fan of the tassels either. For me, the less bells and whistles on a bag, the better 😅 I have other D&B bags that I do love, and really hope I like Ruby one she gets here!
Ooooh I hope you love your new Ruby! I reach for mine so often - it is such a luxe bag.
I have both of these bags and I get a weight of 2.3 for each of them, and Dooney has the micro satchel listed at 2.2 pounds. Either way, add an iPhone and they are both quite heavy. I find the Ruby much more comfortable to carry. FYI, most all of Coach’s bag dual zipper pulls are tend to be a bit sticky. I wonder if having two pulls on one track may just be problematic.

Great collaboration! I have both. Not the mini Dooney but I have it in the micro & regular size. I can’t choose an absolute favorite because all of them are my favorite. They’re all astounding bags. Great video ❤

Moved here after watching Julie's. Great collab Brandon ❤ as mentioned to Julie, we don't have a D&B store or boutique here in Australia, so sad because i really would love to have one from this brand. There is online, but not sure if its authentic because the price is not so convincing, so cheap for such a great quality handbag or brand. Especially when you mentioned the price of the bag, compare to what I saw online, I immediately have doubts and questioned if it's authentic 🫤 🤷♀️ both are absolutely stunning! Tfs Brandon and have a lovely weekend!

I found your video by looking at Julie‘s first and I’m can’t tell you the perfect timing on this video! I’ve been looking at both of these bags for two days! I have the Ruby 25 in black and adore it! I enjoyed this review - I haven’t thought about Dooney and Bourke since I had one in the 80s when they were extremely popular.
It’s crazy how popular their AWL was, then it died down, only to be resurrected by the Florentine leather. Hopefully they continue to diversify, I think the brand needs it a little.
Both bags are really nice. When I use a bigger bag, I tend to carry more stuff. Not bigger stuff lol Hope you have a good weekend 😊

I have both. The Dooney's my favorite because of my leather & quality obsession, and durability. That said, the Ruby has easier access and is also trendier in terms of style. You won't go wrong with either bag, both are fantastic.
