Piano is, in fact, percussion. Percussion instruments are those that are played by striking. Pianos produce sound by the press of their keys causing a hammer to strike a taught string. I was first chair percussionist for years. Spencer and the group were in the right to question their decisions. You still need to decide, as a team, if you're doing something. Just walking into someone's home, no matter what you think you see/know, and killing them doesn't help any cause.
Seamore has a history with wolves and is likely taking them for his own gain. Why? What’s the meta game? Is that their secret weakness? Lol. I actually don’t know.
How much HP was given to the hags? I have six level 6 players tomorrow and running a version of this encounter. Seemed like the main one died super fast. Thanks!
I'd recommend practicing story telling and I hope you have a good/great memory. As a DM, you're expected to know quite a bit and not have to spend half your time playing "looking things up". Jacob doesn't spend much time looking things up, but definitely more than he probably should.
Pretty late on commenting and loving the show, but just out of curiosity: don't hags reverse their shape when they die? seemed kinda odd to me that Jacob decided she kept looking like an old women. Yeah, it created some kind of drama within the party but for what reason? I just don't get it.
Colton confirmed elsewhere in this comment section (a comment reply about 3 weeks ago) that the first night hag is actually a regular old woman who has been forced into service by the 2 night hags. She was not herself a night hag, and her consent in the hags' goings on was not clear. The reason there was dilemma is because the old woman could have perhaps been freed from her servitude instead of utterly splattered onto the floor.

I think you'd be wrong in that statement. There are more than a fair number of people who play mass effect. I think what you meant to say was "very few people rep something that shows what kind of games they play".
Old Bonegrinder is a classic TPK moment in Strahd. I understand wanting the story to progress but killing Morgantha without so much as initiative rolled seemed a bit silly to me.

It looked more like Logan was chewing his lip or something (some of us do it and it does cause us to make weird faces). I'm also not sure what "shade" you think Logan was "throwing at Jacob". @@brachyzoid well now I do, given that a lot of comments in the thread are about how they didn't know the hags were evil/they meta gamed it was hard to spot.
They didn’t find out she was a Night Hag, they didn’t give her a chance to transform. The module says there’s 3 but the characters don’t get that info unless they find out. For all this particular story knows she could be an old lady unwittingly helping two hags sell child pies.
lmao include me more. Near next thing you do accepts a quest without a party memeber then wakes him out of his sleep to do the quest. Really hope thats character flaws.
This episode really makes me (and should have made, now "seamore") realize that he should have rolled a ranger. He's literally only doing ranged things with weapons (throwing daggers, shooting guns...), but rarely does he do anything threatening with spells. And when he does use any harmful spells, they're really not that impressive. Ary is far more fearsome with her spell usage. Not saying people can't play the characters the way they want, but it's just sad to see a wizard that doesn't really do anything that you'd expect of a wizard. Remove curse is easily something ary (who now has an item that lets her store spells in) could do better. The only thing his wizard is providing is the ability to decipher magical text. But he could easily roll a ranger who is better at deciphering (he'd need to be for good tracking as well). Irah, on the other hand, would have made a much better barbarian. Hardly sneaks. Rarely gets a good sneak attack. Wants to be deep in the fray where he'd, most likely, lose his life if he makes 1 small mistake. He'd also have more HP and way more ability to "support the team". Though it is good to see Logan playing a character who, MAYBE, won't die in 2 episodes.
If Ary wants access to those spells (inflict/cure wounds), play a cleric. Seamore cannot learn "remove curse" as a wizard, it's a divine spell, and it can't cure vampirism. Daru would still be a vampire spawn, even if their remove curse scroll was a ninth level spell as vampirism is a physiological change, not a curse.
While you are right that remove curse cannot cure vampirism, Ary is probably a divine soul sorcerer from Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, which gets to choose from the cleric and sorcerer spell lists, and remove curse is on the wizard spell list as well.
I know this is a year old comment lol but the book says Daru can be cured with remove curse or greater restoration. You typically don't have a way to cast it at that level so Jacob gave them the scrolls so that they could have a less depressing ending to that mini story, which was a good move imo
Clearly you didn't watch the very beginning where it was talked about what kind of Sorceress she chose to play (Divine Soul, which is mentioned in the comment replies and many other comments on other videos). Plus, it seems perfectly normal for a Sorcerer/Sorceress to have inflict wounds. Cure wounds would be weird, but she could still learn them. Also, don't try to take away the 1 thing that Seamore actually does that involves magic for a majority of his character's life. He barely uses magic missile and the only other magic he really uses is message... which is just way over utilized in this campaign, to be frank.
Jacob's Ireena and Ismark behave like they are on dream pastry. Actually, it wouldn't be hard to give that bitchy Ireena to Strahd :D Would exchange her for a property deed for some lakeside manor in Vallaki.

Damn, kills night hag, moral dilemma about killing A Night Hag.
They didn’t find out she was a Night Hag, they didn’t give her a chance to transform.
The module says there’s 3 but the characters don’t get that info unless they find out. For all this particular story knows she could be an old lady unwittingly helping two hags sell child pies.
@@ArmoredChocoboLPs she swept the bones under the oven, she is very clearly well aware of whats going on
lmao include me more. Near next thing you do accepts a quest without a party memeber then wakes him out of his sleep to do the quest. Really hope thats character flaws.
Jesus how Many ads!
ive been planning to run Curse of Strahd after doing some of the other Domains in the Ravenloft book... god i hope this doesnt happen
I think I lowkey hate the way Jacob plays Ireena...
Early gang is superior
Divine Soul Sorcerer, Wizards can get Remove Curse.
I know this is a year old comment lol but the book says Daru can be cured with remove curse or greater restoration. You typically don't have a way to cast it at that level so Jacob gave them the scrolls so that they could have a less depressing ending to that mini story, which was a good move imo
@@edanschwarzenberg2580 lol
How loose are you playing with the spellcasting rules that the sorceror claims to be a healer and the rogue can cast spells???
Divine soul sorcerer and arcane trickster.
Subclasses man
I can kinda understand not knowing about divine soul but arcane trickster is in the PHB
Bruh. The Divine Soul Sorcerer maybe I get your confusion.
But the Arcane Trickster is literally in the Player's Handbook.
"How loose are you playing" - clearly didn't pay attention to any bit of the campaign before this one.

Jacob's Ireena and Ismark behave like they are on dream pastry.
Actually, it wouldn't be hard to give that bitchy Ireena to Strahd :D Would exchange her for a property deed for some lakeside manor in Vallaki.
