Design 2 is sooooo nice. You’ll get the same look of the copper tub by adding in copper accessories in the fixtures, knobs, etc. You could do shiplap about 4 feet up the wall and paint in a warm, coppery beige color. Then add the tile above that line so you can get a similar effect cheaper. The shiplap will match the farmhouse vibe you have throughout your house. Double vanity increases the resale value of your house, especially considering how small the master bath is. You should stain the vanity the same color as your butcher block countertops in your kitchen. Also you could do simple penny tile on the floor if you want the rug to be the focal point. Make sure the rug is natural fiber like wool or you’ll get must and mildew.

I personally only like claw foot tubs by themselves with a window above. It has always looked weird to me when people try to make them into showers. Also, claw foot tubs weigh a TON so you may have to get your floor reinforced to carry that weight. I do really like the idea of getting rid of the linen closet to make a larger space for a fiberglass tub/tiled shower combo. And I’d do a single vanity (48-60”) to have more counter space. Love the brass- I have brushed brass accents in my master bath and I love it!

I have a claw foot tub in my home on the second floor that came with my home when we bought it. Love the look but it can be difficult to get in and out of and if kids are taking a bath or a shower I get water on the main floor when they splash around. It is still in the home because it's extremely heavy and I have used that excuse not to get rid of it. In a guest bathroom you may think about it is going to use it...if getting in and out will be a problem. Ours is very high.

I feel like the copper finish is definitely more of a fad right now. I think white is timeless and very easy on the eye. It draws more light in, and in a bathroom, it makes it feel bigger and cleaner. I would go with a single sink as well, centered between the toilet and wall. the vanity you chose is sooo pretty!!!

That herringbone will be bomb and I like design 2 better. Also, I think you should do a two sink vanity. It really works for my kids. I have two kids and they each have their own area in there. If that will be your home when the kiddos start coming it may be a good option to have two sinks. Also you can do two mirrors, two light fixtures...more design options for you. I don't think you'd mind 😁.

The copper tub is gorgeous. Things to consider Are:High-quality copper tubs made of pure or nearly pure recycled copper are completely safe. Lower-quality copper tubs may contain unsafe levels of mercury or lead, which can leach toxins into the water, making the tub unsafe for bathing. A quality copper tub can help the body with restorative and anti-inflammatory properties. and yes to the double sinks. Make both bathrooms master bathrooms. Adds value to your hm.

I’m happy to hear you guys are starting the renovation for the bathroom. No double sinks please. It’s not a master bathroom. Either design y’all choose is going to be nice 😊 your designs are always beautiful. Can’t wait to see it 😊

If there will be multiple children using the bathroom, double vanity is functional

I love design one. One sink is great especially with that extended counter space for your guest to be able to have their toiletries out. Can’t wait to see the finish look. 💕

#1 for sure! That tub was amazing. Love the tiles you chose as well, beautiful color!

I really love the half tile wall with the sink in the first option but I think the herringbone design would look really nice. I also think that the half-wall of tile pulls in the vintage style you’re going but the herringbone would make it feel more updated and modern in a way.
What ever one you choose it will be beautiful !

I love the copper tub ughhh. I closed on my house a month after you did and it's nothing more amazing than turning it into my own. Girl you put me on to how affordable butcher block was and moved my master bath and kitchen reno up a bit

I like Style #2 with the single sink since it is a guest bathroom. I love your content and ideas.
