Lol, had no idea when this would be uploaded.. thought I would search for it on the back of the Mark Watson one and bang it's literally just been uploaded. Woo!
Fuuuuck! The more of these things I watch the more I'm enjoying each one in isolation and all together as a collection..... Must sleep at some point....
Interesting. I was working in the same open plan office as the 11 o'clock show in Waterloo. Didn't know all those people were there. I think this was the guy that honked a horn on the end of his desk every time he came up with a joke.
Hey Richard, I went to sleep with your youtube playlist on autoplay, (I've been suffering from insomnia, and . . well, soporific) and I dreamt that you were interviewing Bill Burr. (I know, right, lol) then I woke up in an alternate universe, and you WERE interviewing Bill Burr. But there was this horrible global pandemic thing going on, so I went back to sleep again. I woke up to this. Still a pandemic, but no Bill Burr, just you and this vaguely familiar bloke banging on about Sid Little and Cliff Richard. Anyway, I'll cut straight to the point. All of a sudden this Robin chap mentioned Daisy Donovan, and I'd forgotten all about her. How the HELL did that happen, and why haven't you had her on your show yet?
Don Estelle. He must have travelled a Number of places. As i too remember him trying to flog his cassette tapes in the 80s & 90s . But this was in the Bexleyheath shopping Centre. Which was a Strange place at times. As on occasions you would also spot The Boxers Henry and George copper. And on occasions Kate Bush..

did robin say that the questions are more important than the answer? 'cause i think that's what he said. i got a bit (meh!) around in there somewhere. i'll watch it with someone clever.

Herring is another atheist as is Dara Ó'Briain. Brian Cox doesn't like term 'atheist' but says he has no personal faith and that he is a humanist - so he's an atheist too. Well done the lot of them!
The audience appear to disagree : he’s been making a living out of this for almost 30 years so I doubt he will take your advice to become something else, I mean what a waste of a great entertainer if he became a dog walker, or a payroll officer, or a bus driver...😀😀😀😀😀🩲
Robin’s a fab guest-this is one of my favorites! How about having him back on soon?
Bloody brilliant. Thanks!
Excellent! Robin is great
This is one of my favorite rhlstp episodes.
Talkative chap Robin Ince. Herring alternated between listening with interest/amusement and reading his notes. Kudos to Ince for his eloquence.

It's impossible to be Sarcastic in text.
It's a verbal only medium.
15:27 -ish: Ince's sleeve colour so closely matches the backdrop that at times his hand looks disembodied.
Thanks to the lighting and angle, here's a game to play: randomly pause when the camera's on Robin to try and catch him looking like Harry Enfield.
That's fair.
I can see some Enfield in there.

Devil's Advocate Richard Herring's Meaning of Life (RHMOL) (rhmol)
Alan Wood thanks. I watched that, but I must have missed an episode!

He's ruined the civilised delight of eating from a bucket.
this guy is on crack, the good kind. loved it
Melon therapy works!!!!
Robin Ince looks 100 years older than he did when I saw him at Fringe 2015. How does that happen?

How is this guy a comedian? I mean in parts it was "interesting" but never funny. Really should consider another profession.
+extremetee You're wrong!
Humour is subjective so just because you don't like him doesn't mean he can't be a comedian. Check yourself.

He's great! Haven't seen him doing standup but in conversation he's superbly witty and quick as hell!
