    there are also three green lights(one for each axis) behind the stick that turn on if your trim is actually neutral

    17:29 Hey, Ralfi. There's one thing (actually three) you overlooked regarding the Trim Center: The Sukhois have an indication panel on the front console for when the trim is centered in each axis that's usually located right in front of the Stick. If you look around the stick into the bottom of the front console in front of it, you'll see three green light indicators, just to the left of the armament panel, exactly on the white center line of the console. They light up when the trim is centered - or at least close enough to center - one light for each Pitch, Roll and Yaw axis. They go off when you trim them off center.

      yeah I noticed I forgot about that as I was doing my last revision and I honestly just said screw it. I did this video over like 7 times already and I wasn't about to shoot another segment. I will probably mention it in a future lesson when we I touch the trim.

    Excellent as alway Ralfi, and now I feel the need....
    ..... to take the good ol' Froggy for spin again, it served me well in my early days of DCS.
    And thanks for the A-10 for dummies serie, that (along with Chuck's guide) made stupid me able to get this monster off the ground, and put some warheads on foreheads.

    Best way to trim the Su-25T for whatever situation you find yourself in: Turn on the Attitude Hold autopilot mode for a couple of seconds, then disengage the autopilot. Since the autopilot in the Su-25T (and some other modules) works by adjusting trim, you can get perfect trim really quickly. =)

    What you said about not flying it like a fighter plane is so true. I learned flying in DCS in the AJS37 Viggen. And pretty much any problem can be fixed by going full afterburner and try to turn out of whatever problem you are in.
    When i tried that in the SU25t i just smacked into the ground XD

    24:00 - IMO the yellow zone is not the sweet spot. It is mainly the zone where you should not use the ailerons. Ailerons affets the AoA and you could get yourself into assymetric stall. That's why the rudder pedals are used to roll at high AoA's.

    Hello Ralfi, i got a quick question. Did you use the original base of the TM Warthog when you did the tutorial guides on the A10? Your movement looked so smooth. Im new to the warthog and find the movement around the center a bit hard. Maybe i have to get used to it 😄

    Why is your game so pretty... I have everything more or less maxed out and yours is so much more colourful. Reshade ?

    • @ralfidude
      @ralfidude  ปีที่แล้ว

      My reshade is only adding a bit of contrast and sharpness, that's all. Colors are very monitor dependant as well. So some monitors don't replicate colors as well and it looks more washed out.

    • @Teab8g
      @Teab8g ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ralfidude agreed.. But a TH-cam video wouldn't make a difference if its the same screen I'm using to play DCS? I dunno maybe it's just that map and time setting.

    • @Tattlebot
      @Tattlebot ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Teab8g A good monitor has lossless control of contrast to at least +/- 25 points of default. You can check integrity of near-black and near-white shades by searching for test images. Don't use software control for tuning as it is lossy and you will end up with a 6-bit image if you push it. Unfortunately, most laptops lack a proper display controller. It's sad when a manufacturer uses an OLED or high specification IPS panel, only to have the CCT way off and no way to losslessly correct it.

  • @jaromirandel543

    19:20 - In such slow speed you should not even use the ailerons. In such high AoA you can induce asymmetric stall by this way. Rather use rudder pedals for turning in such high AoA.
