The concert was called Killing Them Softly. The whole thing is golden start to finish. The part about being driven to the ghetto in the middle of the night is as good as the hostage part.
This was around 25-30 years ago and in DC just passed the worst of the crack epidemic . The Mayor of DC had been imprisoned for crack cocaine the country was a different place. The rest of the special was better .. History is very interesting if you get passed the sanitized version for school ☮️
