Should not have torn those safe's up, this big ones are worth money. You can get a professional to get it unlocked without damaging them. Ruined perfectly good safe's, 🤯
ok just finished watching, fair call … still hate to see good stuff destroyed. could’ve broken even and given someone else a plug … and less waste . whatever lol all good
These are my type of lockers. Filled with vintage audio equipment. I have either owned or repaired every single piece you pulled out. Including the ociloscope
17:12 The Gray 4 Drawer Safe is Mosler Security Filing Cabinet. They came in 4 & 5 Drawer non fire rated. When the Alameda Naval Air Station in Alameda closed, many were sent to the DRMO sales location near the Alameda Tunnel for sale. The 5 Drawer version weighs 600 pounds and cost $2,000 each. I used to pay $200 each and sell them at $400 each. Buyers were hard to find. This was pre internet days. Occasionally one would be opened by a locksmith. A small 1/4 hole was drilled near the combination dial. There are 1-2 6x6" hardened steel removable squares that were on the inside near the dial that you would have to drill through. If they were drilled properly, you could weld over the hole, replace some internal parts and reuse the safe.
Hey pirate, next time you get a bunch of safes like that, invest in buying splitting all wedges, the steel ones, and it'll probably work a lot better that way with a sledgehammer to open them
It's amazing what a tad of mineral oil on a rag will do to add value to a piece. It doesn't take a lot of time, but really improves the appearance. You can use it on metal, plastic, & wood.
When you come across storage lockers like this keep everything as a whole and contact a music studio see if they want to buy it all as a whole you can sell everything at one location instead of eBay or Amazon or flea market
I worked for Tektronix for years, those oscilloscopes made me think again of all those years. Probably not worth much these days, except maybe old school uses. Saw all those little boxes with the parts for circuit boards or who knows. The guy was into some very odd stuff, not a nice guy maybe that is why his wife didn't want any of it. Funny how he kept them all neat and named and threw so much stuff just dumped willy nilly into boxes. And not to mention the plastic people. whole other thing. You guys are doing well and I am getting all your notices showing up right away.
You should have taken them to a locksmith and told them they could have the safes, if you could keep the contents once they were opened, instead of paying them cash.
Why don't you use a "angle grinder steel cutting wheel"?? With a cordless 4 or 6" angle grinder you cut the bolt side top & bottom, then pry. Quicker & easier. You're welcome PS -Harbor Freight is the best place to buy the wheels on the cheap, don't forget leather gloves & eye protection
Seeing you with stalker i never stop laughing you guys are so much fun. Here i am over in South Australia and found all the storage videos and have sat in awe....
After the pro cracks them aren't they just as destroyed? I don't know what it entails. To be used would they have to get new keys or combinations? Just wondering.
Probably find the combos somewhere in that stuff to the safes,,,,empty holsters and pistol boxes = empty everything else some family member creamed it,,,,
The code to a safe is always in the serial number minus three.. unless someone has changed it the serial number always gives you a clue and then it's a matter of which way you turn it first and how many times you rotate. You destroyed a lot of money.
After you explain the low resale price of the safes vs fee to crack, add in fun to break them, I vote you did the right thing. Now can they be sold for scrap? Great video.
Yeah after a while urine will dry up and have an ammonia smell I used to clean out apartment buildings years ago and a lot of the junkies left needles everywhere so I don't blame you for being careful the other thing is you never know if there's a meth lab and one of them storage units I don't care how old or how long those units have been there
It’s all so DIRTY! I’m fast forwarding through this video because I’m getting sick just watching. Good work cleaning and sorting…like a PRO! 25 years OMG. They lost so much money.
I had a feeling the wall of boxes would turn out better than the safes. Maybe paying to open them would be better for resale this time but it's unfair to judge since you got the fun of cracking them.
You know you can contact the manufacturer of the safes and give them the safe information and they will give you a code to unlock them. That way you can sell the safes instead of destroying them
I couldn't have done that I'd hire safe guy to open without damaging 3 of those for just selling the safes. But I've only found 1standing gun safe waited 2.5 weeks to get a key to open it, then sold safe for $175. Found bunch of discontinued pew pew stocks and handles.
Around here open a safe isn’t cheap and to spend more money just to make a $200 or less sale is a lot to me. So we just said f it. Needed to have some enjoyment this unit got ugly real fast
I got a friend that used to do for a live about hundred unless like presidential. Only 1 I found was pew pew cab got key off ebay. Have finish watching at lowrider car show now lol.
There was some epic electronics in these two units . But mannnnn. The rat pee was like nothing i never seen before . Literally nice was running out of unit every couple boxes .
You could have had a locksmith open the safes and the filing cabinet. The filing cabinet sys right on it NSA certified! By moving them around, you could tell they were empty! The safes are made to bolt to a foundation of a house or building. It would seem the prior owner worked for government. He wasn't likely going to ever store anything of value in them in a storage locker. If you hadn't destroyed them, you could've made quite a bit of money. Those aren't the cheap $200 ones. I might have been interested. Just wow. Lost about $4k there. I'd have called another locksmith too. $200 each? That's ridiculous. If you had AAA, might have been free. You can also call the manufacturer in such cases and they can in certain cases help you for free. This was hard to watch.
Hire someone to clean stuff for you , you will get more and it covers the cost of cleaning, just saying because it looks better it won’t look like junk
This seems so wrong to me, someone else's things locked away and for some unfortunate reason they miss 3 payments and the locker owner auctions the property to someone else? Where are our laws? It's almost the same as paying to break into someone's home and ransack it! Legal theft? SO SAD for the owner that may be in the hospital and unable to conduct their affairs right now. It's too sad to watch.
At the same thing happen to me thank God I brought a grinder and a torch was my very best friend and dude I got away with a lot of money but the fact is always keep it in your backseat of your car just in
I would like to know how many people have been unsubsidized from your channel like me...it's crazy the first time it happened I second whether I had subscribed or not when you stopped showing up on my page but the second time I knew that I had subscribed because of the first time.
Why wouldnt u have a 8 in" cut off electric milwaukee or the like? split the corners on those safes boom open. No need for all the dramatic 6ft irons. Work smarter.
Should not have torn those safe's up, this big ones are worth money. You can get a professional to get it unlocked without damaging them. Ruined perfectly good safe's, 🤯
Seriously haha it only takes a 3/16 drill bit to get them opened. And a 50 dollar lock . Easy $350 a pop.
yep no good
ok just finished watching, fair call … still hate to see good stuff destroyed. could’ve broken even and given someone else a plug … and less waste . whatever lol all good
Yea facts. I was thinking that exact same thing a nice safe can easily go for $750
@@EricBrado those ones aren’t worth much in worker order, locksmith fees Will wipe out any profit and it’s just not worth it in the end

That’s awesome. I actually sell at the alameda antique fair on that naval weapon station. And used to do a lot of trade show move jobs there as well.

Bummer they were empty, but fun to watch! Thanks!! You made the right choice.
"The slings for your arm..."
He still cracks me up. Too damn funny. Don't ever change Stalker, please!!

Googled it, about $85 for the banjo. Safes in storage, the best one might find in one is some type of guns or rifles. Most of the time they're empty.
Unlucky on the safes Pirate and Alex. Blessings to you both and your families.
Saw what looks like a Dillion progressive reloader. Those are expensive $$$$. Good luck 👍
Have you sold that volcano yet? I’m interested if not.. love your videos btw, awesome pirating!!
You should have taken them to a locksmith and told them they could have the safes, if you could keep the contents once they were opened, instead of paying them cash.
Always bring a grinder and a torch with you the best advice I ever had and let me tell you it works perfectly
I love the safe cracking..the suspense!!!
Smart gun owners like me keep Eva Dry units in my safe as well. They are to control the humidity level. Keep your guns and ammo safe from corrosion.
I would definitely try to find someone experienced with the audio equipment to judge the value. You never know what you may have!

Wow, lots of damage to safes. Just a thought hire a lock picker. It would have taken 20-50 minutes per safe to open. Around me it cost $20/hr
Here they want $100-200 a safe to open
@@StorageAuctionPirate you should look at some TH-cam videos, they show you how to do it.
@@StorageAuctionPirate Those aren't safes, they are glorified gun cabinets. They cost a few hundred dollars brand new at your local hardware store.
Why do you break the safes, does a locksmith cost more than the safes are worth, or do they have to break the safes?
I was notified of your videos today. Yeah!!
Those devices were dehumidifiers. Keeps your firearms from rusting
After the pro cracks them aren't they just as destroyed? I don't know what it entails. To be used would they have to get new keys or combinations? Just wondering.
Probably find the combos somewhere in that stuff to the safes,,,,empty holsters and pistol boxes = empty everything else some family member creamed it,,,,
Empty and covered in rat pee for 20 years
Awesome videos. I ran across you on tiktok and subscribed to your channel. I'm also doing storage unit videos just starting out!
Great job opening the safes.
That oscillator scope is really sought after.
The wire racks in the first safe were for pistol storage
Was ya a little worried Pirate about opening that bag 😂 Great video!
I am an audio hifi enthusiast and all that audio equipment would be heaven to me.
Check for a local HAM RADIO market. Your radios and electronics would fetch a higher price.
Always pull the lining on safes you might find a surprise
Never thought of that
The code to a safe is always in the serial number minus three.. unless someone has changed it the serial number always gives you a clue and then it's a matter of which way you turn it first and how many times you rotate. You destroyed a lot of money.
I wonder what kind of electronics he was into,? What was that equipment used for?
I think he repaired audio equipment
Most safes you can Google the master code if you have the make and model # for them
Assuming it's not damaged, that banjo is about 10 pct of your outlay.
The banjo could be worth up to $500
After you explain the low resale price of the safes vs fee to crack, add in fun to break them, I vote you did the right thing. Now can they be sold for scrap? Great video.
Do you have a garage separate from house where you could store these items to go through later?
Alex should put one on too !! Still great finds .. just get rid of the nasty boxes .. thanks for the fun !!

Prices for the banjo are all over the place.
i want to see what else is in those units. Hopefully you can make money on them.
Pirate playing the banjo sounds like a South Park Show...Ha! Ha!
Are the safes recyclable?
Love watching yall crack open them safes thank you!
Next time all you have to do is call manufacturer give them serial number to safe they will give you combo
looks like a traveling gun show or that type of operation,
After all that work on the safes, 😪 but Holy cow the safe openings were awesome. 😅❤😍
Why not hire locksmith so u can sell the safes
The stack on we had to drill a hole in back for your hand and you can open the safe without destroying it
When imagine if the person that spent all that money on that junk had the money that they spent on it unbelievable
It’s all so DIRTY! I’m fast forwarding through this video because I’m getting sick just watching. Good work cleaning and sorting…like a PRO! 25 years OMG. They lost so much money.

The combinations might be in the unit still.
You know you can contact the manufacturer of the safes and give them the safe information and they will give you a code to unlock them. That way you can sell the safes instead of destroying them
Safes with combination dials are specific to the owner if changed from factory settings.
Love you both and wishing you the best!
If i may ask why don't you save the safes and call a locksmith
They wanted 100-150 each and you’d be lucky to get $200 each used for those
You shud offer a local lock Smith 10%of your findings and sales of the safe as payment
That Bacon Banjo is worth $2000 to $4000 if it's from the 60's. It's a long neck open back.
🙏
I'd at least wipe off the surface dirt, as even at the flea market it would sell faster than if it was so dirty.
The safe shoe destroyed a locksmith would have done it For way less than what those saves are actually worth if you kept them in good shape
I couldn't have done that I'd hire safe guy to open without damaging 3 of those for just selling the safes. But I've only found 1standing gun safe waited 2.5 weeks to get a key to open it, then sold safe for $175. Found bunch of discontinued pew pew stocks and handles.

Loving them speakers and amps there is money there
There was some epic electronics in these two units . But mannnnn. The rat pee was like nothing i never seen before . Literally nice was running out of unit every couple boxes .
That sucks guys.. I was hoping you'd find some treasures in the safe's.. Next time try to sell the safe's to the locksmiths. 😜 Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾🤗🤙
Love watching you guys
You found a nekkid lady pendant and took out your frustrations on four safes. It could have been worse.
What happened to the pink hair
Man that sucks but Hell Yeah Ripping those safes open is the Business!

1:30 got my notifications turn off for all on TH-cam
that 4 drawer container you are crowbaring is work a couple k
Woukd love to see in more detail prices of stuff so we can see hoe much roughly u make xxx love your videos
They ate safe dehumidifiers. I have then in all my gun safes.

I need some more speakers. My wife will say hell no but I'm all about it.
How much for the volcano?
I would of broke those safes as well. That's the fun part! Good job you guyzzz.
Why would you ruin safes that could get you at least 500 to 1000usd if you sell them, whilst a locksmith will cost you around 150 usd to open them?
I found them all for sale for about 100-200 a piece used and lock smith wanted 150 each
It was my grandpa's bins he past awhile back
Considering the tenant had a stroke and was living with his wife who stopped paying . I would consider this a blatant lie .
Those are gun safes, could've made good money off those, combo were probably in a personal box.
That should go to the market.
Classy boogie savage. Very descriptive
I dream of the day I see a safe like that.
Unfortunate you didnt hire someone to open those safe like lockpickers since these safes go for a FAAAAT price
At the same thing happen to me thank God I brought a grinder and a torch was my very best friend and dude I got away with a lot of money but the fact is always keep it in your backseat of your car just in

The Best
This unit would give some people nightmares
I would have broke them open also! Good work :) Now get another one for your sneaky-link lol
Yall don't knkw how to even open a safe, bunch of city slickers
That was interesting love you guys
Why wouldnt u have a 8 in" cut off electric milwaukee or the like? split the corners on those safes boom open. No need for all the dramatic 6ft irons. Work smarter.
Even a electric sawzall with a good metal blade eat them corners up quickly.
you dont have to destroy all safes cause you can still sell it. You have to call a locksmith to open that.
Great video you two are great together never get bored watching the two of you bet you went home and ate that cheeseburger and went to bed!!!!!
