Justice doesn't just need to be done, justice also needs to be seen to be done. There never was a clearer example than Trump's trials. This is why one needs a good and strong constitution which protects us all.

If we were going for a job in public office and had serious criminal cases that have gone through a grand Jury, you would only get to an interview if proven innocent and a police check came up clean on anything of concern. These are not misdemeanour cases or traffic offences. These are all the biggest offence you can commit. There are some judges, lawyers drawing up the 14th amendment issue I believe. I guess it depends on how many Maga judges are out there

Put another way: I live in a conservative part of the USA in a swing state. I know many people who voted for Trump in 2016, 2020 and would again. However, I know of absolutely no one who did not vote for Trump who would be persuaded to in the next election who did not vote for him earlier. My state squeaked in for Biden. I fail to see how Trump could possible carry the state even if he did not face four separate indictments in four separate jurisdictions with now over 20 o defendants who, if they are not brain dead, will soon be talking.
Trump never won a majority vote. He won by the electoral college. Where will his new support come from that is required to win? It isn’t happening. Meanwhile if Biden were not the nominee but some other democratic leader, it would likely be a landslide. He would do well to change his VP because the country will put a lot of stock in who that person is give his age and how capable he or she would be to become president. Not many yet have confidence in Kamala Harris. She could change, but if she doesn’t, Biden should replace her on the ticket. This will be seen as harsh, but by most, the kind of harshness that is required at times when president.

As someone who has observed Joe Biden for 40 years as a voting American citizen, I can vouch for Mr. Weiner's observation that he is a "babbler". He's always been that way. It's part of his folksy style and anyone who has seen this knows that it is just part of his personality. (It is also a common tone you find in the Delaware-Philadelphia-Scranton areas he grew up in. A lot of people in those places tend to be really cordial and nice, but also tough and streetwise.) At the same time, it's very important to understand that Biden is tough and smart. He's a product of a tough Irish-Catholic, working class upbringing. He was a bootstrap scholar, a young lawyer, a very young public defender, and a very young U.S. Senator. During all of this, he overcame a STUTTER. For those of us who have watched him for 40 years, he is just as smart, just as tough, and just as conversational as he has ever been. The ONLY difference is that he is now visibily 40 years older. Frankly, people who politically underestimate him do so at their own risk.
It's possible that everything you've said about Biden's past is true, but the degree of his current cognitive decline can't be simply ignored. The guy by now has devolved into a sock puppet, managed by Obama's former staffers.

There was a detailed analysis in The Atlantic magazine by 2 constitutional experts from the right and left that came to the conclusion that Trump should be disqualified. It is up to each state's Secretary of State to make that decision and for people to challenge it.
Times Radio needs to contact Brian Tyler Cohen and his advisor who analyse this issue in detail for an interview.

I think the point is that jurors, in general, follow the law and not their pre-conceived opinions. There are hours or days of pre-trial juror questioning and both sides have a chance to strike jurors they don't think will be fair. This isnt just pick 12 people that dislike Trump and lock him away and missing that nuance is missing the point.
