Hi, I find this video really wonderful! I faced a Fire Inspector visit few days ago at our paint shop. But he relied more on the Fire Suppression System Inspection Tag than asking questions to the company which did the maintenance of the system. It took him only few minutes and he went without any report or signatures. I think this may be his way of normal working.
Paramjit, where are you located. Fire inspectors do rely on the maintenance companies that place the tag on the riser of the sprinkler system or the kitchen UL300 systems since they are state certified to do the maintenance. Seeing that the system has been done at the proper time is usually adequate unless you see something out of the normal. Glad the video was helpful. Are you the facility manager? Owner?
@@r.osborne6706 Hi, Good morning! I am glad to see that you read my comments!! We are located in Edmonton, Canada & I am the Administrator of this small plant of Sandblasting & Painting unit. We bought this plant a year ago and this was first inspection after a gap of 2 years. But yes, he asked for the Deficiency Report as mentioned on the inspection tag. We forwarded the report received from Sprouse Fire System, which showed no serious deficiency. Thank you again for this video and your response to my comments!!
