Apex got carried by first Shox and KennyS, now Zywoo. He never was a good IGL. If Zywoo does not go 1.4 rating, they lose.@@HahsJeje
Botpex is Fraud IGL of the year. If he has any shame(which he doesn't), he should give that award to Zywoo. An IGL is supposed to improve the team-play and make his players play greater than the sum of their parts.
1. Snappi took tier 1.5 players play, and made them play,as if they were tier 1 players. Siuhy improved Im and Acor; when he left, their performance decreased. Also Siuhy improved Torzi. Glave improved the 9ine lineup and results speak for themselves. Many other examples are there but not in the case of Missuta or Kyojin.
2. People say that he won the major, but I think that was due to Zonic's coaching and not Apex's calling. No more Zonic and now the team-play has deteriorated. They are back to Zywooo 1v9 or else they will lose. Proof is the Blast groups, where the #1 team in the world having Zywoo and Spinx in the team, had to rely on Zywoo alone, to bail them out, same with Ence. Where are the genius calls and reads, a #1 IGL of the year should have. Most of the time they go to a stacked site and win, solely based on firepower.
3. Botpex is a better fragger than Hooxi or Karrigan, I will give him that, but just marginally. Most of the time he dies without having a clue from where he was being shot at( proof watch Astralis vs Vitality Spring groups Nuke). This so called "Brain of the game" is being outplayed game-sense wise, not outaimed like Hooxi or Karrigan. Atleast Hooxi or Karrigan have a clue where the enemy is, they just get outaimed.
4. His mentality is that of a spoiled child. He malds when things don't go his way, and shouts when either Zywoo/Spinx win the round on the basis of their skill. Most of the brain cells in his brain are being utilized, to hurl abuses at the opponents, not much brain left to call a good game. Now his toxicity has spread even to ZYwoo. We never saw Zywoo getting affected by this, but this Sprong groups, we saw Zywoo shouting at his opponents, and get visibly frustrated when they lost the round. Thanks Botpex for infecting the most humble and level headed pro in the scene, Zywoo the "Humble Deity" not so humble anymore.
5. He gets outcalled by almost every good IGL in the scene. Vitality fans will remember initially Heroic was our Kryptonite. Cadian being a good IGL always outcalled Botpex's simpleton calls. I think oly when Spinx arrived, did we beat then once or twice. Next, Ence with Snappi, too eliminated, us from many crusial touranments. Again on paper Vitality had better players(they even got Spinx from Ence), still Snappi called a good game and beat us in e.g. ESL pro league, March 2023. Just go and watch how many rounds Zywoo won them singlehandedly, but Botpex on Vertigo A ramp, lost them singlehandedly. How can Glave, who everyone said, is an outdated IGL, won against Vitality. Just because, Vitality's firepower did not bail out Apex's mediocre calling.
Apex, never was and never will be a good IGL. I believe Vitality won due to, initially Zywoo carrying them and then later a combination of Spinx+Zonic's coaching+gem of a player like Magisk, the reason Vitality was good. Zywoo is my favorite player to watch, but this Apex makes my watching Vitality matches, unbearable. Any decent IGL can get results with this Vitality lineup. Think about Karrigan/Glave/Kyxxan/Siuhy etc. I am willing to bet even Hooxi would get the same, if not better results with this lineup.
Botpex has been a paycheck stealer for years and because of only ZYwoo, he is in tier1. Imagine if Zywoo leaves Vitality today, they are tier3 at best, but if Apex leaves, and eplaced by any decent IGL, then they stay the same.

Super entertaining matchup. The back and forth banter just heated it even more. Heroic deserved that so much, they honestly have so much potential and continue to surprise every game… its been only a few weeks since they've been playing together.

I honestly feel like Vitality pissed away their shine after the Paris Major removing Dupreeh and more recently Magisk. I don't think they would've faltered against the teams they do with their current roster if they still had the Danish duo. They're still an insanely strong team don't get me wrong, but let's be very honest 99% of the time that just means Zywoo and Spinx are popping off.
I understand why they removed dupreah but Magisk is still the 2nd best player in their team and the most consistent player at that too. Zywoo disappear some gsme but Magisk is the man they can count on

don't understand the strategy of kicking players right after winning trophies. I like to call it valorant kicks because for some reason in that game teams keep kicking old players for new ones right after they won a huge tournament. Like seriously you are just completely restarting all of your hard work. the team synergy, the understanding of players between each other and other stuff just gone.

Vitality seems like they underestimated heroic, vitality without magisk and zonic sucks so bad, mezzi cant replace magisk. Magisk is a very important piece of the team a big time performer. Sad to see them lose to a rebuilding team.

Clear example of what happens to apEX and his team if Zywooo can't get his game going.
Apex IGLing is the problem. Apex was never a good IGL in the first place. He got outcalled by Kyssan so many times this match. What did not work for them was that Zywoo did not put up a 1.40+ rating to bail him out. If you watched the Vertigo game just now against Heroic, kyxsan always made sure to get his players to push the site opposite to where apex would place Zywoo.
The decline started with the departure of zonic and magisk. No Magisk and No Zonic, No wins !. Deserved for asking the goat coach to take a paycut after having their most successful year ever. They should have cut Apex and given his pay to Zonic.

After the major -Botpex -Mezzi. Both are not good enough to win trophies. Get a young and hungry IGL(siuhy,kyxan etc), who actually improve the players and not get carried by them. An IGL is supposed to make his team better and not the other way around.

I dont think ppl realise these new formed lineups will have there momments but they will eventually die down and be top 10/15, there isnt a actually play style for these new lineups makimg the lineup, making it difficult for the exprienced lineups to understand
