I cannot tell you how ecstatic I am to finally hear either CurlMix or Black Girl Curls address high porosity hair!! I am genetically high porosity and felt like everything I was hearing was geared towards low porosity naturals. My hair has no problem absorbing water, if anything it absorbs too much water and becomes frizzy/bushy. Also I can't rake my fingers thru my hair b/c of excessive tangling - something I was told comes w/ having high po hair, so how can I achieve a successful wng using CM products w/out that technique?
Hi! Yes I thought I was the only one that was naturally high porosity. My mother and sister are too! I was always told that it was from heat or chemicals and I didn't really use either, so I was confused for the longest time bruh! 😀

Can I use it after taking my braids out or do I wait and does the shampoo wash out the gel and build up
There are many recommendations for the Curlmix brush, but it is not for sale on the website, please advise?
I need help. I am a mother of a bi racial child, and I don't know what type of curls she has? How do find thar out?
I love these products, but can’t figure out how to get rid of white residue. Not sure what I am doing wrong.😩
That’s low porosity hair for you. My hair does the same thing. After styling I just gently pat off the excess product with a microfiber towel
Add more water!
I hate that it has to be blowdryed
me too
