My kids used a wax paper or foil box to hold cards before they were big enough to hold in their hands. Also, my youngest loved Monopoly Jr. He started playing about age 3/4. He learned a lot of math and money skills with it.

My daughter played clarinet from 2nd grade through 12th grade. You would be able to play again,Terri, if you got the right reed. It takes time to build up your embouchure. My daughter has started playing again at her church. My dad was an only child, and my mom had one twin brother who was a Catholic priest, so I didn't have cousins either. I do have four siblings, though, and we got together with other families with lots of kids. I have an awful memory of watching a turkey have its head chopped off. I couldn't be a farm kid. My dad's parents were both raised on farms, and my grandmother told me she hated watching her mom grab a chicken and wring its neck.
I love your blanket. That yarn around the squares makes me think of seaweed. You need to keep that blanket in the family!

I am currently working on a Chevron blanket using the Caron anniversary cakes I have just started on my 2nd cake. I also played in my high school band in 5th grade i played the trumpet I wanted to play clarinet until I saw all the keys and changed my mind but my 6th grade year we moved and I changed over to the clarinet. My husband and I had a 1999 firebird but my favorite was the 2006 Screaming Yellow (actual color name) 2006 Mustang I got on 2/14/2006 the girls that worked with my husband was went around saying he bought his wife a mustang for Valentine’s Day lol I thought that was so funny when my husband told me that

Hi Terri i just listened while taking a break from cleaning. I agree about books and all the other visual things, i uaed to be a bigvreader as well. I do love aiatening to audio books while i crochet. I uae libby, cloudlibrary, hoopla and have found cozy myateries to ljsten to here on youtube as well!
Hi, Terry. Love, you're under the sea blanket. That's so cute that your grandbaby's learning to play Go Fish growing up. Enjoying these questions. I love that you grew up on a farm. I grew up in a rural agricultural town. I grew up in town in a little neighborhood but I had many childhood friends that lived out in the country on farms and I loved going to visit them especially my best friend during childhood. I spent a lot of time on their farm. That's where I learned how to milk cows. I currently live out in the country. Several miles from town. It can be a challenge because I don't drive but I'm making the most of it. I love your car too. That's very cool. I was totally going to suggest that you listen to audiobooks. While you crochet, because I love to listen to audiobooks. While I knit and crochet, I read a lot, though, I'm reading less these days, listening to all of these crochet, podcasts and videos.

Ure under the sea is just gorgeous sweet! I've been wondering if I should do 12 or 15 squares. But I like the way u did ures. Very very nice. And yes I'm 40 miles north of Houston and we r very soggy also.
