My cousin loves to go to these...I can see why she has a good time. I'm pretty much a city boy now, but there will always be a special place in my heart for East Texas. Anything uplifting the black community and promoting positive vibes, I'm 100% for!
Horses are great for kids. They will call you out on attitudes. My horse cowboy has no problem letting me know he's not dealing with my bad day attitude and he helps me to come out of it. So cool to see this. I hope I run into this group on the trail one day and get to show them some love 😍
Same thing happened to me, a horse I grew to know & love, we became friends. When I got too big for my britches... he let me know. All horses see are friends, humans who love them, humans that may need their help. Horses love & frienship is everything!

Sorry but the vaqueros= cowboys were the first to ride horses then indians back in the 1500s you blacks were not even in America till 1619 when they brought you as slaves? You blacks started learning after the civil war in 1865 you blacks are the last to ride in America? Whites learned after the Mexican American war in 1830s. Enjoy Mexican culture
@@dontrustwhiteyevery1 that's not 100% true. There are trails in New Jersey you can ride on, but you'd never see someone riding one on the street randomly like in Texas.
Guys I hope that those who are bringing the culture of what our people did which was never recorded will inspire you all. A change is coming. Bless them and do appreciate what they are doing.
Sorry that is Mexican culture since the 1500 s spainards brought horses and cattle to America and the American Indians and Mexicans been riding since the 1500s when whites and blacks were not in America yet. The whites learned how to ride in the 1830s after the Mexican American war then blacks learned from whites after the civil war which was 1865. Mexicans and Indians have been riding for a hundred years from 1500 to 1600 without anyone but Mexicans and Indians in America. White men picked up the Mexican culture now you blacks have picked up our culture. Enjoy the Mexican culture.
I love this I don’t care what color you are good horsemanship and friend and family get togethers are traditional. This is true historical facts, ride on 🐴❤️
Mexicans taught white men to ride and after 1868 white men taught freed blacks how to ride. Riding horses goes back into the early 1500s when spainards brought horses to america and taught their sons mexicans how to ride. In those times there was no blacks or whites in america at all. Just indians and mexicans for a hundred 100 years.

I don’t know if you can see Dee Dees comment but I can’t. The first cowboys were called Vaqueros. Had NOTHING to do with black men being called “boy” I just cannot believe people are becoming so racist about past history and then get mad when the truth doesn’t fit the racist narrative?? It’s like they WANT it to be super racist??
I would love to go to one of these. Its nice to see black folks riding horses. I live in Houston so maybe I might run into one of these somewhere and do lots of meet and greets and pet the horses
Some of these people are a little heavy handed especially with the type of bits they're using. But that's really my only complaint. 4:13 poor horse🤐 Omg they have mules😄 I love mules
