"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break, just like it can be good in a relationship to not be together all the time. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a seed. That leads my dark mind to believe that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on the way of wiping ourselves out. I could of course be wrong. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human being, not as a single person. And they are talking to nature, confessing their love (and also regret). I can also imagine they are building an ark to take plants and animals to another planet. It would make sense with some of the scenes in the MV. As you can see, my theory is not perfect. I also do not know why all three titles are in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job! And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy! I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!
The floating pod/cell , concept wise probably represents the heart of nature/earth/seed of life. (agree with it looking like EVE, it was my first thought also ) Theory wise people seem to think its Siyeon because they think she sacrificed herself protecting SuA which kind of makes sense but only if you disregard alot of elements of the MV. Personally i think it represents InSomnia always being there with them, no matter what they do or where they go, like the "8th member" of the group
This track is really good. Bold and fresh but with a sense of nostalgia. And the album is just top tier. What a great finale to an amazing trilogy. Thanks for the reaction and lets go Dreamcatcher!
