The most important question which I fail to understand is that under International Mobility Program Spouse of a student whos study permit is still valid for one to three months wheather no longer eligible for Open work permit? If study is in progress how would a student produce a PGWP or qualifying NOC code for spouse to apply. There is utter confusion and no clarity for such cases where a student is actively persuing full time study status. Dear Sir, Please discuss this in your next video. @@ytlover1420 under IMP spouse of student can apply for open work permit, but not many applications approved when study is about to get completed in 2-3 months. Few visa officers approve the open work permit but others refuse stating that study is about to get completed. So there is no clarity and applicants are in a helpless situation and visa depends upon visa officer mood. I know cases where the visa was approved for less than a month. While another case where visa was refused stating that spouse study visa will expire in 3 months...I hope you understand the situation now.

Hi Kuber. I see one issue with your recommendation to delay applying for PGWP. Because let's say if it gets rejected, we will not have enough time to reapply as we have to apply within 3 month window, Post completion of studies.

There certainly will be some options that will be made available to students and workers. But it is unlikely that it would be in the form of TR to PR. As per the mandate letter provisions will have to be made in Express Entry for these categories

My wife is in Canada on Study permit and our kid is in India with his grand parents. Incase our application is approved before our medical expiry, I am planning to land in Canada. If my kid is not able to travel to Canada before the COPR expiry/medical expiry, What’s the procedure to get an extension?.

They take their time in responding. Meanwhile prepare the forms and documents to submit if you don't hear back on 3 weeks, raise another webform

You can restore your status and then reapply as long as your study permit is valid within the last 180 days
