And at bass pro you can get a bass pro rod paired with revo sx for 169.99$ the price of the reel itself you don’t have to pay for the rod and it is a great rod
Got my combo at cabelas for Father's Day, use mine for topwater and it works great! Casts amazing and handles those bass with authority! Also only paid $179.99 on special.
@@JoseS13t how much money do you think it's worth? It has 24 pounds of drag on it! I'm doing tournaments and am thinking hard about buying one, would you recommend it? If so, for how much money?
Chase McNeil to be honest, I hardly use mine. I have several higher end Shimano reels that I typically use. I’ve used it a couple of times and it’s a decent reel. I wasn’t too impressed with the casting distance. Im also use to casting reels that cost almost double of that combo. I originally bought the combo because of the drag rating. After bass fishing a while I realized you don’t need that much drag unless if you’re flipping heavy cover or targeting bigger fish.
@@JoseS13t okay! Thanks for the fast reply!👍 I'm also looking at the consept z reel, it seems to cast a long way, but it costs $200! I just saw this one and liked the drag rating and the rods grip, it seems like a nice one, but I might also look at one of the shimono corados, they seem pretty nice! What reels from them would you recommend? (Again thanks for the reply!😉)

Does this model have centrifugal brakes as well? I thought I saw the gen 4s had dual brake system

I paid 230 last week. At bass pro and its well worth it very nice
Now it’s 220$ at bass pro
Says 229.99 at bass pro
John Rich yea the price fluctuated quite a bit in a relatively short period of time
I bought the combo from Bass Pro for $179 in Orlando about a month ago. It was on sale.
